I have made a very similiar one of the cream cheese biscuit one from Paula Deen on the Food Network. It was really good. It didn't have the nuts in it. I am going to try this version! It sounds wonderful! Thanks.

The house is just lovely! I am hoping to have the outside of my house done this Wed at the latest. My house is usually done by Thanksgiving, but I've been sick for over a week and just wasn't up to doing it. Your house makes me want to go outside while it's snowing right now and decorate! They have a contest in my neighborhood with judges that come through and vote on the best houses. Yours would win first prize!!!!! Great job!

This year I'm putting 5 dollar gift cards to McDonalds. My kids had gotten the new gift cards from their Aunt and Uncle at halloween, and it was like they had won the jackpot. They LOVED the idea of going to there and "buying" their own meal. I just thought it could be a fun idea. Otherwise, going to the dollar tree and target are about the best ideas. Stockings can get expensive if you let them!

So sorry for you!!!!!!!!! I had mine taken out last winter and let me tell you that was the worst pain I've ever been in before!!! I made out fine for the first 48 hours after the surgery and after that it was all way down hill. Best of luck to you!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a ton of snowmen and just a few Santa's. I have one special Santa that I put out every year that I got as a present as a young child. It still looks brand new. I've had it for at least 25 years and hope to pass it on to one of my children someday.:)

Ross is another really good store to get designer things for less.

I always make sure that our kids gifts from Santa are wrapped in Santa paper. It makes it so much easier. We always make sure that their special gift is from us though.

I didn't get anything at Radio Shack this year.

I actually thought that I'd be burnt out , but found it's actually the oposite. I had such a great time and saved a HUGE amount of money, that I am very content! Counting the days down until next year!!!!

I did most of my shopping at Strawbridges on BF. I spent about 250.00 there, but bought over 600.00 dollars worth of stuff!!! I came home with some wonderful things! It seemed like everything was on sale and then I had a 20% off entire purchase coupon besides. I made out like a bandit!!!

I know all I've heard about is the Amazing Amanda doll from my daughter and all her friends. I even heard mothers talking about the doll at my daughter's preschool.

I will take hot coffee just to stay warm and will most likely bring some soda for another pick me up!!!

I was suppose to be going home so I could have Thanksgiving with my folks and then do my Christmas shopping on BF, but I just looked at the NOAA websight and it says we may get hit with a huge snowfall on Tuesday.....maybe won't be going home for either now.

I think it's a great deal. Sure wish I could buy that for myself!

I haven't found anything really that just jumped out at me as a gotta have. I had hoped that I'd see some of my kids things that I wanted somewhere. So far, there are a couple of games that were on my list and that's about it. I saw one person write that last year at Target she was able to get Barbie's for under 2 bucks. If I knew that they would have them this year, I'd be there in a heart beat! The last one I'm waiting for is KBTOYS. They are my last hope for something great!

I'm addicted to this...I'm not going anywhere!
