I am trying to figure out how hard it will be to get the 99.00 Kinect at Target. They have the best deal because you are getting extras. Other stores are also selling it for 99.00 but they either come with one less game or no games. Last year I got the Wii Fit Board and it was a mad house. Are the Kinect's a hot item????

I would have to say clothing, electronics, and treats are our usual fair.

Hubby told me last night that his folks are getting a Kindle for our kids. Kids are 16/11. Both of our children LIKE to read but don't LOVE to read. I'm concerned that it won't get as much use from them as it will by us. Do children enjoy them as much as much as adults? Our son does a fair amount of reading for his Honors English course. Maybe he can get those books on this? I've never used one, so I know very little. Any info would be appreciated.

I am still waiting on Hollister, American Eagle, and Aero. They are my last ones on my list. Hubby and I have a general game plan but need that to finish up.

All I need still is Kmart and Hollister. I'm lucky that things we are looking for ARE on several BF ads already! Sooooo excited!

We have never gone to our AAFES on BF before because we normally go home. Do they have things all over the place or will electronics be in electronics?

Does anyone know if they will do the Kinect bundle for 99.00 online just in case they sell out at my store? Last year I got the last Wii board they had as an early bird special. It was getting really nasty and I am not into any of that.

Could someone tell me how hard it is using these when you go to the grocery store. I have been thinking of using these instead of the plastic bags but can't seem to figure out how easy it will be for the baggers to use. Where I shop, we HAVE to use baggers and I have never seen anyone use them before. Any help would be great!!TIA

My DD, who is 7, just came to me the other day out of the blue and starts telling me how I should be using these things. I had NEVER heard of them before. I guess she had been flipping channels and saw a commercial for these. All I know is she was really sure I just HAD to try these LOL!!!

Yes, they really are that good!! We've gotten them several times. Sometimes even as a gift from my inlaws which is always a wonderful surprise!!

I recently got sheet sets for all of ouor beds at Kohls and have been thrilled with how they wash up. They are the jersey sheets. Normally, I don't care for these. I bought a set for DS's bed and I liked them so much I went back and got them for DD and my bed. The sheets are so soft after washing and they do not come out of the dryer wrinkled which is a HUGE pet peeve for me! I actually like them better then my very expensive sheets from Macys I treated myself to that were over 130 dollars!! I could have bought several sheet sets at Kohls for what I paid for the one!! The ones from Macys ALWAYS come out wrinkled even if I pull them right out of the dryer. I don't overload my dryer, so that isn't the problem.

I just went back onto Basspro.com and I see that they range in price from 229-259. I'll keep my eye out if I get a discount code from them and will send it your way. Right now they don't seem to be on sale there. Is this a decent price for these? ??

First off, vey sorry about the fire. I know that my DH swears by The Bass Pro shop. Check on there and I would sign up for getting their emails. My DH gets them and we get special savings for email only customers for discounts. Best of luck to you.

I know last year after we moved into our new house, we purchased one from Home Depot for around 700 I think. It comes with most of the stuff you need except for some of the lumber. I believe it was done for about 900 once we were through with it. It has the wavy slide, sandbox underneath, 2 regular swings, round swing, climbing ropes, rock climbing thing up to the tower and some odds and end things. Honestly, I think it was well worth the money. It took a good day to put up with 2 people doing it. It took severeal hours longer then the insturctions said, but I know my DH was thrilled with the end result. We also had it stained to match our back deck and honestly once that was done, it looked like some of the much higher priced ones out there on the market. Good luck with whatever one you decide on!!

I have found that most people on here are very very friendly!! I try to make sure I keep my posts in a happy tone. You have to remember that you will always find that one person that seems to enjoy making other people feel bad about themselves. I like that I can come on here and people seem to be in a good mood most of the time.

Well I have to say I am sure glad I waited since when I went on the web sight today, they had free shipping in the bath and linen department if you spent 150.00 or more!!! Since I wasn't quite up to the 150, I went ahead and ordered 2 new European pillows that I had wanted that were also on sale. I made out fantastic!! Plus not only did I get the bed set that was 400 for 130, it also came with the matching bonus of the 2 throw pillows for the bed and the 2 matching covers for the new pillows I bought!!! I saved a ton and I am thrilled I waited and took a chance to order it today to get the free shipping.

I found a 400 dollar bed set in clearance yesterday for about 130, but shipping was almost 24 dollars!!! I am taking a chance that it will still be there and maybe they will bring back free shipping. I figure if I am suppose to have it, I will get free shipping. If not, I'll just wait until I can find something else. Yes, I know I am cheap LOL for not wanting to pay the HUGE shipping charge!!

My mother and I went out this morning to Macys and it was wonderful. There was like no one else there. I was shopping in the kitchen department and the only other people shopping in that section were men shopping for their wives. It was so great!!

No, I can't believe it!!!! I have been subbing a ton over the last couple of weeks and with DH deployed, it's extra hard getting everything done. I had the inside of my house done the weekend after Thanksgiving. So at least that was done super earlly!! I haven't wrapped one single thing yet. Yesterday I had planned to try to get a good portion of my wrapping done after my hair appointment at 9, but when I walked in the door, the phone was ringing and they needed me to come in to sub..........so needless to say, I went to work and didn't get anything wrapped. Funny thing was that Tuesday after I got home from school, I made like a gazillion cookies with my kids again. I then got up yesterday morning before the kids had to and made a Danish Puff so that I could drop them off at school for the office staff. Maybe had I not been so busy, I wouldn't have gotten called in???? I still have 2 more gifts to get and the one I have no idea what to do. I guess this weekend I will figure out something.

I have to say thank you for this. I went out to Walmart this morning to pick up last minute stocking stuffers and also decided to pick up the stuff to make these. Let me tell you, They are WONDERFUL!!!! I only made 1 tray of them so far. I think after the kids get home and get their homework done, we are all going to work in the kitchen and do a little baking. Thanks for such an easy and kid freindly thing to make. oh and by the way, I bought the Christmas shaped pretzels today instead and they worked out really great!!

I know if I did this to my dear hubby, he would NOT be a happy camper LOL!!! Knowing my DH, he'd give me what HE he picked out. I do have to say though that my DH has wonderful taste and he knows me to a T. If it were me, I would maybe get her 1 of the new things she asked for, but I would not do everything. That's just me though.
