I will definitely put mine up this weekend. And I can't promise that they won't get turned on until Thanksgiving weekend, either.lol

I should add that the person who buys me the crap gifts always gets everyone else great gifts!lol

I don't want to point out anyone in particular but over the years I have gotten my fair share of crap gifts.lol Everything from "no-name" dusting powder (which I can't stand, btw) to the nastiest smelling perfume. Even got some of those cheap-o pictures for the walls that look like they have been run over by a truck when they first come out of the box.lol There are certain things that I don't even want anyone to get for me because I am picky about them. Perfume, I only use two kinds (Lancome Miracle, and Chanel Chance) and purses (I am a purse freak and I only like certain kinds.) I don't expect anyone to buy those because those are the things I treat myself to when I can. Those are the ONLY things I am that picky about so it leaves alot of gifts that are way cheaper. But every year someone gives me at least one bottle of perfume and a purse. It is actually quite funny. I just smile and say how much I LOVE it and go on about my business. I would NEVER say that when I get home, my girls will get to pick what they want.lol They love it!!!

I about had a stroke when I couldn't get on.lol I was thinking that "what would I do if I couldn't get back on before BF"? It was really scary, Brad. But congrats! You seem to be the man of the day!!!!!

Welcome! It's not that bad, but that's easy for me to say, I LOVE BF!!! It's worth it if you don't want to pay high prices for the things you want. Our WM will probably have those in the main aisles between electronics and toys. Happy BF shopping.

My son is seventeen this year and I will probably be getting him mp3 player, clothes, digital camera, cds, and gift card to the game store.

Christmas Eve is always just lite eating and dd's birthday cake.lol But Christmas Day, I leave it up to the gang. Sometimes it's Italian food, sometimes it's Mexican food, and has been Chinese food before. This year I think that Mexican has won again...so, mexican rice, nachos, enchiladas, pico, guacamole, quesadillas, and whatever else I decide to make.lol

My hubby loves seeing all that I get on bf except HIS present.lol

Yes, little Lucy gets a stocking and presents. She will also get a birthday party on her birthday. She just got some pink Little Lily boots. She has a pink hoodie, a jacket, and a pink polka dotted dress. She loves wearing clothes because she is cold alot. She is a mini daschund. I made her a sleeping bag with her name on it when we got her because daschunds like to burrow under covers. Hubby and kids are just as bad if not worse than me about her, everyone treats her like a baby. We have three other dogs and a cat and they get presents, too. They are part of our family and we treat them that way.lol

No question about it... Christmas Vacation. I watch it all year any time I need a good laugh. I am "Clark" in our family. I always want everything to be perfect. Actually the squirrel in the tree has becaome quite a joke around here, my mom found a small one a couple of years ago and it goes in our tree every year.lol

Ok, I was at WM last night and this morning. I didn't check, but when I go back tomorrow, I will. I know I go alot but I forget alot of things when I'm there.lol Thanks!!!

I have never had to address that question. My kids are 17, 13, 12, 9, and 7. As the older ones figured it out, they just didn't say anything. I guess they knew that I wouldn't want to address that issue.lol But, they do tease me about it from time to time in front of the younger ones to keep me on my toes. I have been listening to them lately and I think that I am the only one in the house who feels it necessary to do the "Santa thing" this year. Even the youngest one asked the 17 yr. old, "Is momma gonna do Santa again this year?" I was afraid that Christmas wouldn't be the same to them once they found out. But, I guess not.lol I have always wanted them to believe in Santa for as long as possible because I never did. Even when I was three years old, my mom tells the story every year, she wrote a letter from Santa to me and mailed it to our house from the post office. She showed it to me and read it to me and I told her, "Thanks for the letter but I know it's from you." Glad mine weren't so impossible.lol

We have a Fred's that will be opening Tuesday morning. I have never heard of it before but I am going to the grand opening to get the free gifts.lol

I change mine for Christmas but that's about the only special ringtones I use.

I went ahead and bought another tree tonight and it is pre-lit, too. Wouldn't want it any other way.lol

Well, I went ahead and got the 61/2 ft. pre-lit white tree at WM tonight.lol I couldn't wait because they only had two left. So, I am still hoping I can wait til next weekend, but now I'm not sure. All of the BIG snowmen that sit around the bottom of the tree came out today, and I "found" a whole box of decorations I bought last year after Christmas and forgot about. So I am even more anxious now.

butterfinger cake, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, sunshine cake, pineapple cream cheese pie, I could go on and on but I won't.lol

Haven't spent a dime on gifts yet. But I have spent $10.00 on decorations already.lol
