  1. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. That is so pretty! I wish we got more snow. We're lucky if we get one good snow every year.lol
  3. This may still work for you. Using a ladder, you could probably reach the higher places on your house with this pole. I'm not sure, but it may work.
  4. I saw some of those at Hobby Lobby, Target, WM, and Ross over the weekend. They are pretty with all of the glitter and beads. They had them in several colors.
  5. I would love that because I can never seem to have enough lights outside. I add every year but still not satisfied. Hubby and kids get a good laugh watching me bring home more and more decorations to go in the yard.
  6. I am getting seriously excited now! All of a sudden it doesn't seem so far away! I just hope I get all of the goodies on my list again this year. Most of them are going to be hard to get, so I have to be ready.lol
  7. Her ideas are the best in my opinion. I use alot of her ideas on decorating and recipes. The kids tease me all of the time about being a mix of Clark Griswold/Martha Stewart.lol
  8. I used it this evening to put the lights on the house and it works great! I am very pleased with it, it's worth the money. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is not comfortable with ladders. I am afraid of heights so this was a good thing for me.lol Every year we argued about who was getting on the ladder, not anymore.
  9. I believe this will turn out to be a wise investment. I want to finish putting up my outside lights but the wind has been too high here for the past few days to climb on a ladder.
  10. I was there a little while ago, and I didn't find anything that is packaged for BF.
  11. I think I will have enough points at one of our grocery stores to get a free turkey this year, too. Usually I buy all of my groceries at WM, but I have been buying some at the grocery store so I hope I have enough points.
  12. Thanks, that sounds really good and my gang will eat anything with cheese in it.lol:greenappl
  13. Since we mainly go with a "country" Christmas theme, I use plain brown shipping paper. Then use raffia bows and "old-fashioned" gift tags that I found at Target. For a little color I use some red and white "candy cane" paper on a few of the gifts.
  14. Okay, I found it here online... http://www.christmasontv.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=34&ref=3 I bought it at Target for $19.99. It has the 11ft. pole and 50 clips. You can also use this for trees.
  15. Sorry, I had to run to the grocery store.lol Okay, I'm going to see if Target has it online...
  16. No, you are not the only one. I hate green bean casserole and have banned it from being served in my house on holidays. Not only do I not like the taste but I get so sick of seeing all of those recipes that are IDENTICAL showing up on every magazine rack, every food container, and all through the store close to the holidays. Oops! Sorry, didn't mean to rant, lol. Just don't like it.
  17. I was at Target this weekend and picked up one of those poles to use to hang lights on the outside of the house. It looks really easy and comes with 50 hooks for the gutters. You can also use this for putting lights in trees. I think it will be easier than a ladder. Has anyone else ever used one of these???
  18. Good luck and this is the best place to be for single parents. Alot of great deals on here. I have been telling a friend of mine who's hubby just up and left her a couple of weeks ago that she should register here because she is worried about Christmas. There are alot of goodies in the BF ads for your girls' age group. My girls are a little older so they are into more grown up stuff. Radio Shack usually has some good stuff, cheap, for stocking stuffers.
  19. I have a pre-lit so I don't add any lights to the tree but between the outside of the house, mantles, and walkways, I usually use about 40-50 100light strings. But I like alot of lights.lol
  20. Actually it's a little bit of a let down for me that some of the items are available now. It takes a little of the thrill out of having to try and get them on BF!lol But, if I run across any of them, I'll get them now.
  21. Same here. I buy the small appliances at WM every year. They are also cheap for back up in case something happens with your regular appliances such as mixers or an extra coffee maker. Although my kids use the sandwich maker all of the time.lol
  22. Well, you did better than I did.lol When I asked at our WM they got so ticked at me and told me it was too early to be asking about BF. I had to talk to the manager about it. Now I know that there are several threads here about BF items at WM and that some of the "special items" are already in the stores and ringing up at BF prices. I will probably check it out. Less I have to worry about then and our layaway line is way too long on BF.lol
  23. My mom HAS to have my sweet potatoes, I have to have pumpkin pie and pecan pie. I would be happy if those were the only things we had for Thanksgiving.lol
  24. No, we do not wrap Santa gifts or stocking stuffers. We wrap gifts to each other but we open those on Christmas Eve and I do not want to clean up all of that torn up paper twice.lol
  25. I go because of the great deals and for the thrill of it.
