Going with my sister to try to get the BB eMachines desktop... if my brother gives me money, I'm supposed to try to pick one up for him as well.

The CC laptop is going to be ~ $450... one of the instant rebates is if you sign up for a 12-month subscription to AOL...

they'll open whatever time the mall does. don't expect any great specials, they'll have some of their usual specials on pants, etc, and i'm sure they'll hand out the stamp discount cards at the door.

It really depends on what you're looking for. For the holidays, Nintendo releases the GC Bundle that includes "Mario Kart - Double Dash", which aside from buying it used / ebay, you can't get at any other time of the year. There is a bundle out right now with the console, I believe 2 controllers, and Mario Party 7 -- a new game which sells for $49.99. (Extra controller goes for around $19.99) --- ($99.99 - $49.99 - $19.99 = $30.01 for the console and one controller, which is what is included in any regular GC console purchase). There's a Pokemon bundle out also for $99.99, and a few other bundles that are the same price, or a little higher (come with more). I'd say either the GC + Mario Kart or the GC + Mario Party 7.

None, IMO. Was hoping for some good video game deals (GameCube and/or GBA) to finish up the kids I babysit for, but I didn't see anything... Nothing that great on toys that I'd buy for my niece that I still need to finish (other one is finished)... nothing great on anything that I'd buy for anyone else this year either... bleh. Oh well.

If you don't already have Mario Kart - Double Dash, pick it up. It's only offered around the holidays (in bundle packs, and i think for sale on its own as well). It's great for any age, IMO. Mario Party 7 should also be a big one.

The BB circular from yesterday's paper said that each BB store will have a minimum of 10 core systems ($299.99) and a minimum of 20 systems at the $399.99 price.

Since you're also looking at the DS, the DS can play the DS games as well as the GBA games. It cannot play the GB or GB Color games though.

I thought the micro would have been about the size of an original NES controller, that's just what I always thought when I first saw the pics online. I saw one in a store window a week or so ago and they really are small. At his age though, you might as well just get the SP, since it's a great price in the BF ads.

i think i have about 9 things in the closet right now, none of which are wrapped. 2 more things that i just ordered a little while ago, and i should be ordering more stuff this week or next week if i don't decide to just go to the stores and pick up some things...

if she likes drinking, then try to find out what she prefers to drink (if you don't know already), and pay a visit to a local liquor store. there may be a holiday bottle or even some kind of gift set. or, you could always go with candles, b&bw, gift cards, etc.

Does anyone know how you get the codes? I've been an ebay'er for years, same with PayPal...

My sister has that "all-in-one", and it does a pretty good job for everyday, basic use.

I also tried using it through PayPal and it said that it couldn't be redeemed through PP or something to that extent. I wasn't sure if it was because I already had a coupon code in, but seeing others' responses I think that it just doesn't work with PP...

I haven't really seen any yet this year, but the Coke bears are pretty good every year.
