  1. No. I've only bought things for good deals. I have a preset spending limit for most everyone I shop for :)
  2. A lot of stores are offering freebies for buying the Star Wars game. Ones I remember: Best Buy - $5 Gift Card Circuit City - $10 Gift Card Toys R Us - Free Figure (go to TRU.com to see what it is, $9.99 value)
  3. I think what happens is that people visit the BF site, then end up clicking for the message board, and it brings them directly into this forum. People who are not as familiar with posting on message forums may be led to believe that this is the only place you post (?)
  4. You can get this deal online: Possibly free shipping on the Bratz items? I didn't look, but they usually have f/s on a lot of the toys.
  5. no clue... i haven't even checked out what they have myself lol. just saw the codes and thought someone else might find them of use.

    KB online?

They usually have different specials online and in-store. Percentages off merchandise are usually online as well as B&M, but there always seems to be better deals in-store, IMO.
  7. The DS can take all GBA cartridges. It has a spot for a GBA cartridge, and one for a DS cartridge. The GBA SP takes all GBA cartridges, as well as all original GameBoy and GB Color cartridges (the DS does not take the original GB or GBC cartridges). The player that I have for the GC connects into one of the controller ports, and you just snap the GBA cartridge into it. I'd imagine that videos would play this way, but I've not tested it.
  8. All of them expire 11/20 (12:00AM EST). I'll update the first post.
  9. also, if you have a gamecube too, then you can get an adapter to play the advance cartridges on the tv through the gamecube, so you can get more mileage out of the movies (i have a non-nintendo brand adapter that is probably about $15-20)
  10. just noticed it was a $30 minimum, which is pretty outrageous. i suppose you could get a $30 item with a great deal, but that's $180 (at least) alone on kids you probably barely know.
  11. i have a pretty small extended family, and i really only buy for my immediate family (mom, sister, brother, sometimes brother's fiance - if not they get a joint present, and my 2 nieces). (only other people i have to buy for are my bf -- the tough & expensive one lol -- his mom, the two kids i babysit for, and their mom) my boyfriend is italian and has the traditional huge family, so they always do a family lottery/secret santa, and then set a spending limit i believe on top of that.
  12. yes, all gameboy advance cartridges work on: advance advance sp ds micro
  13. i think it's a great way for them to compete in that area with the psp. a good boost for all of the advance systems, the ds, and the micro.
  14. ^ Stumbled upon these bundles earlier and was just about to suggest them lol. It's probably one of the best deals you'll find on it. Sony hasn't dropped the price in quite a while, and probably won't until the PS3. Even if the games are the "Greatest Hits" (usually retail around $19.99 or less) you'll still be getting a decent deal by getting 4 games and a controller for about $20.
  15. is that the 360? i thought it was for the regular xbox
  16. the console probably won't see a price drop until the nintendo revolution and ps3 are released sometime next year, but that will depend on their pricing as well. as for accessories and games, there could possibly be some deals on them, but i wouldn't count on it too much. you will find plenty of original xbox deals though i'm sure. IMO, they'd be better off releasing limited quantities right now, unless the console really isn't worth it. ps2 took this strategy, and it worked wonders for them. the xbox hasn't really had all that much going for it, with the exception of the halo craze, so releasing them in limits for a while could help them out there. if the console isn't really worth it, however, they'd be better off releasing them now with their wait lists and preorders.
  17. $10 off $100 Use Code: C10OFF. $15 off $125. Use Code: C15OFF. $20 off $150. Use Code: C20OFF. EXP: 11/20 12:00AM EST
  18. I only like shopping KB if there's a sale going on, which is usually around the holidays when I go anyway. I made out pretty good there last year, finishing up my oldest niece, the kids I babysit for, and picked up some video games for my bf lol. All for less than $100.
  19. my 2 (3 in january) y/o niece has a handful of elmo dolls, which she absolutely LOVES. i imagine my sister will be buying her the shout one for xmas, as she loves the commercial for that one now too. the dolls get annoying to everyone else, but she can spend a great deal of time just playing with elmo (until the batteries die and don't get replaced lol)
  20. wow, that's a little excessive, IMO. most kids have 13" tvs. i got a 19" when i was about 11-12, and still have it today.
  21. no idea. my boyfriend is IMPOSSIBLE to shop for. he makes decent money, so as soon as he wants something, he buys it. bleh.
  22. np, figured if anyone was looking for it, it'd be easier to get now than on BF lol
  23. I'm not sure if this has been posted already or not (sorry if it has), but if you're looking to get the Video Now Color that WM will have for ~$25.00 on BF, there's no need to wait! TRU.com has the Video Now Color for $24.99 (regularly $74.99) http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00064BOQY/ref%3Dnosim/shoppingbookmark/104-7978978-4863151
  24. kind of figured it would be the smaller one for the price. my oldest niece (will be 5 next month) is starting to get too big for her little jeep power wheels. my 2 y/o niece has the get-set-go kart right now but she'll be too big for it come springtime again. would have worked out too well to have her move up to the little jeep, and get the regular-size for the 5-y/o.
