a very big gifts bag? maybe a big ribbon.

i just got a shock. i don't teach my kids about santa, my dd6 believed in him why i don't know. i thought it was funny when she would tell her brother that ho-ho (thats what she would call him from his laugh) wasn't going to bring him any gifts when he would tease her. well she's been home sick with the flu and today out of the blue she tells me santa's not real he's a fake! i was like why you say that? she said he's not real just like the monsters their not real either. i just laughed and said your right. i have told them the true story of saint nick but that was a long time ago and some people like to have the fantasy of it. i teach my kids not to say anything to other kids to allow them to play this game and not to spoil it for the other children. my son who is 14 has always kept his mouth shut my dd6 i'll have to wait and see.

same here no gifts except those for other people. we have 7 cats and s few of them LOVE the bows ugg it gets so frustating. so for the last 12 ys no gifts under the tree till christmas eve. but i might try this yr just to see how it works out oh and no bows on any of the gifts. i'll just add them on the eve. my old neighbors went through this when their son was only 2 he opened all the gifts on christmas eve his sister who was 13 at the time was very upset he opened her gifts. the parents thought it was funny, i felt bad for the girl. i told them that wasn't right he ruined her christmas. after that they didn't put them out till he was older.

my son's birthday is dec 6th so i don't give to them early they do get to open one gift each christmas eve, but is' something i get to pick since i don't bring anything out untill they go to sleep but this yr i think i'll have some fun and put a few small things under there and let them sit and wonder what it is. lol

heck no i don't buy everything they ask for. what i do is i watch and see if it's something they keep asking for not just a i want that one time thing. if it's something they keep asking for hten i get it most of the time they play with it. video games gt the most played with out of everything.

my mom is in a nursing home, and some of the stories she tells me is so sad. even when i can't get over there to see her (if someone in the family is sick no one is allowed to go, we don't want to make any of them sick) she has a friend that goes every week and she'll take the snacks and stuff to her. i think i'll talk to the nurses the next time i go and see what i can do.

we use to do this with dd6 when she was around 2 until she could tell me what she wanted. what ever she would point to we gave her if she played with it for awhile we got it if not it went backl lol we would hide the stuff under the coats so she never knew what we were doing. that only worked for 2 yrs then she started looking in the cart. now she marks the catalogs that come in the mail. i like the idea of giving her the news papers to cut out the pics and send the letter tell her she can mail it the next day and open it see what she want's when she sleeping since it's a secret, lol. they're so cute at that age even when they make it hard for us.

great job Brad you should be proud of those numbers you and the mods have work hard to get them. congrats and hope they double next yr. and i agree it's the not just the deals but the people that are great here.

i didn't get the paper on sunday but we get the ads with out flyiers each week. but we didn't get the one for kolhs BF ad till sat the 24th.

check your store. the KBToys by me is having 40% off 1 item that you pick, it could be any item in your pile, how ever the one by me does not carry game systems so find out if there is any exceptions! the biggest toy they have here is butterscotch and they said i could pick that one if i wanted to taking it down to $180. just using that as an example. the store by me is opening at 12 midnight starting their BF sale.

i just got the backfriday ad for circuit city and i noticed some of the items have web id numbers under them and some of them don't. are the ones that have the web id under them the ones we can get on line?
