my son and dd, her father, dd's 3 sisters, my brother, SIL and 3 neices, 5 teachers, 7 kids (friends) 5 teachers, 28 people in all

my son is 14 and my dd is 6 they got 17 each and there was only $1 differents, go figure, i have no idea how i did that. i try to stay with in $20 differents. however that was before i looked in the amazon threads lol. i have to check the money but i know my dd has 2 more then my son now, but i'm getting him a Wii game so that'll pretty much bring them even since the one i'm getting cost $50.

well i was finished at 17 for each of my kids. BUT then i looked ino the amazon toy thread, boy was that a mistake lol and now i'm afraid to count the toys. from what it looks like on my list my son14 has 26 and my dd6 has 28. but he has more in his stocking then she does so it evens out.

i missed out on all the fun i had to opt out but i did get a card from someone and just wanted to say thank you. lol i knew it was someone here on GD since they put lisamag on the card but you didn't put you gd name only your real name, so i still don't know who it is. i PM eve and she pmed me she knows who it is, but didn't say who. ho these guessing games lol. anyway you know who you are so thank you it was a nice surprise. i'm send out my christmas cards today and i'll send one to you too who ever you are lol.

i did the same thing. i noticed better deals this month then i did through the year. unless it's a REALLY good deal i think next yr i'll wait to shop and just put the money in the saving. the only thing i'll buy early will be video games when they have the B1G1 half deals. i agree with jarerice put some on the side for birthdays or give some to toys drives or nursing homes, they always need stuff. i gave to the toy drive. i had my dd6 give the bag to the lady at school so she learns to give to others.

thats what i told my kids. i said my christmas is watching them open their gifts, so if they snoop then i loose that look of surprise and they would be taking my gift away from me. so if you want to ruin my christmas then go and look.my son 14 said darn this guilt feeling it's not fair then he faked a cry while laughing. i don't hide most of my gifts in my house any way. so i don't worry to much about it.

i thought i was done with my shopping last week, then my SIL told me to check out the amazon threads well there went $400 so much for not going over board this yr and finishing early lol. i have band myself from looking any longer at these threads i'll go broke if i don't. lol thanks to all of you who have posted the great deals. i had so much fun shopping and saving that i can't wait for next yr lol.

i placed my order last week then i got an email saying they'rehaving problems processing my card. i checked my card, well i have a pre-paid cc and i get charge for each transaction, well i placed 3 orders butthe way amazon is placing the orders i got 14 different charges i addedthem all up it's right, it's just that they broke it down so now i'm being charge $14 more which put me over my limit on the card (plus a canceled bill went threw which didn't help any) being thats it's pre-paid i had to go down and add more money to cover this mistake just so i can get my orders sent why didin't they just put it through as the 3 orders i made instaed of breaking it up this really Peed me off my credit card company just made $10 off me for nothing!

no i don't give to people i don't like, lol half the time i don't give to the ones i do. i give to the kids. but last yr when my dd fathers girlfriend bought a gift for my dd i mailed it back to her unopen still wrapped. theres a reason i did that. he had other girlfriends that gave gifts that i let my dd keep. at the time she was causing him problems to come over to visit. so i can't stand her nore will i let her play 2 face with my kids.

i need to get sheets for my bed i got a pillow top mattress but the regular sheets don't stay on. i have no idea where to get the ones i need, can any one help me? i need queen size. if anyone one has a pillow top bed can you tell me where you get your bedding from, i'm really tired of the sheets coming up off the bed as i sleep. thanks

i got my dd6 the leapster. can anyone recommend some games for her? she's into spongbob, dora, and spiderman, but she needs help with reading as well. what games would be good and which ones would you say stay away from? all and any comments are welcome. thanks for the help. games i got already are 1st grade, word chasers, and Number Raiders.

lol my dd6 did that last yr. i have a pic of her walking around with the christmas stockings and the santa hat on her head. it was every funny i laughed so hard, she kept trying to pull it up so it would stay on her feet. i usually put at least one ds game in theri stockings that gets wrapped but not any of the other stuff.
