yeah it was working when we moved in, i guess i got used to not having one so it's not such a big deal to me but my boyfriend is complaining about shaving at the kitchen sink lol.

ok fixing the sink is his responsibility, and he and i both know that, they tried to fix it years ago and the plumber said that the pipes in the walls had to be taken out and replaced. ok cheap landlord don't want to do that. i asked for the remodeling, he did it for another tenant and i like the way it looks could be better but it's nice. she said that it cost the landlord around $3800.00 and she got a rent increase of $50 a month she had this done about 10 yrs ago and she still paying that extra $50 that work has been paid off a long time ago but she still paying for it and will do so as long as she is there. i figure if i pay for some of the stuff it will bring the cost down so i won't have such a high increase on my rent. thats why i'm paying for some of the stuff. i'm not paying for the tub or the sink i just want to get a good price and tell the landlord where to get it. since the guy he uses to do the work, don't care what he buys whether it's good or a piece of crap so i want good stuff at a good price.

ok heres the project. my landlord has agreed to remodel my bathroom he's paying for the labor and some of the items being replaced in the bathroom. which i'll be paying for the rest of the time i live here. he's going to charge me a % of the cost and add it to my monthly rent. so i figure i might as well lay out for some of the stuff and pay for it once rather then the rest of my time here. we want to pay for the tiles on the walls, the floor, pick out the tub. the bathroom sink don't work (hasn't in 20 yrs) so i'm thinking of just pulling it out if it if we can't get this one to work why buy a new one. my question is where can we go to get the best price for tiles and maybe the tub. i know there's home depot are there other places besides the little stores around that charge an arm and a leg for things? thanks for any advice.

thats what i was worried about when i got my washer i waited w month before i order it because i was afraid i would get a lemon (my luck), they also say that if they have to take it back there is a 20% charge for restocking it. so far everything is ok i haven't had a problem, i have noticed a funny smell from time to time when i use the washer but i think it might just be because it's new. the delivery guys took the box with them. i hope it'll be ok.
