  1. I agree that they shouldn't have to take it back, but I also think there should be some room for discretion. If the item clearly has that stores branding or tags, refund lowest price within last 30 days or so. And I agree, I LOVE that Target can look up my reciepts. Now excuse me, I have a Kmart reciept that I cannot seem to find for the life of me....
  2. Same. My kids have no problem filling a page with what the y want. I take that, and try to narrow down teh things I think they will play with the most. From there, I start bargain shopping :) Online, B&M, whatever. And I hold out on big itmes til BF unless I see a killer deal. This year it looks like I have to buy a Pokemon DSlite. My DD9 has a pink one, but its fairly old, and the hinge cracked, which causes teh game to turn off randomly. Nintendo issued a recall on the white ones, but nothing for pink. She about had a heart attack when she saw it in person, so I know what to get her. For DD7 & DS almost 4, I have no idea yet lol.
  3. My biggest purchase will hopefully be a cheap desktop or laptop, altho i would prefer a laptop. Also wanting cheap games for any system, but especially DS, Wii & PSP. The 360 games we want will be new so I'm sure I wont see more than a $5 discount on those. DH has asked for an iPod or Zune, so maybe a nice deal on that too :)
  4. Altho i live in Gainesville, we always end up in Kennesaw @ Towne Center. My guess is i will be at Best Buy again. Anyone else in Georgia going shopping?
  5. Do they do the major clearance events like LTD2? Thats pretty much the only time I can afford to shop there, lol.
  6. Oh that is so sad! I'm going to have to see if any around here are closing. I LOVE LTD2 brand stuff. I always get it dirt cheap, and it lasts forever. I have not been to Justice, is the quality the same? LTD2 are the only jeans that actually fit my long & lanky DD9 well. *Sigh* Also, does Justice do any sort of bucks or major clearance sales?
  7. The $199 desktop from BB is doing great. My kids use it every day. My mom loves her camera, and her GPS. Everything I picked up is doing good as far as I know!
  8. They do those clearance events several times a year, pretty much when seasons change I think. I got a 25% bday card as well, and am going to use it when the clearnace kicks in. I'd say we will start seeing it very soon, with fall stuff coming in, and back-to school shopping winding down. I'm hoping at least!
  9. Just an FYI...I hate Emerson. We had a VCR several years ago theat kept doing odd stuff. So they replaced it. 4 times. Same thing kept happening. Finally they agreed to send a diff brand & model that the parent company also makes. That one worked about twice as long as teh Emerson, so maybe 6 months? In the end, we trashed it. So much hassle.
  10. They wont let us use the PAs on BF. They are used to man teh stations at my store. I was so excited when they introduced that, I called immediately to et a BF appt that year, and was told too bad, lol.
  11. I agree with everything BigJim has said. You really get to know the people around you. Last year, there was nowhere open in teh shopping center we were at, so we carpooled in groups to the gas station a block away. It was actually really cool. We didnt have a tent, but will this year. It was in the high 20's, but the wind was brutal. I brought an MP3 player, that I hardly used, my DS an a few games, also hardly used. Blankets, jackets, etc. And a nice lady who did have a tent shared a hand warmer with me, which I will DEFINATELY bring this year. DH stayed home with the kids, and a friend went with m. Just so happens he's a pretty big guy, so I wasn't worried even if things did get out of hand. But it was great. Everyone worked together to make it a fun time. And after tickets were passed out, thats when we all put our things away. By that point, you have been there 24 hrs or so, and there is no question as to who is where. The police officer did tell us tho that we had 30 mins, and if we were not in line by then, you would lose your spot. Best Buy is by far the most organized when it comes to camping out, and that is where I will be again!
  12. hello :) I am Crissy, mom to 3 (mostly) wonderful kids, and a very supportive hubby. He'd have to be to keep me around, lol. I've been here on GD for about 4 years now, and doing black friday since i was a little kid. I love this site all year tho :) It has been a very eventful year for me so far, and I hope it continues! And I hope to see some of you other Georgia natives out shopping on BF!
  13. I love thier system. Worked great last year. If I have the money and there is anything I want / need, that's where I will be.
  14. In theory, yes. Bu in practice, maybe not so much. Headlines say "WM orders Gottadeal to withdraw ads." Next thing ya know, Target fears WM will undercut, since no one has thier ad no one knows. So Target says pull our ad. BB follows, etc. It could be a very nasty chain of events if stores don';t wake up to the fact that allowing us to plan actually BOOSTS sales
  15. Unfortunately, probably more. I don't shop Wal-Mart...oops, WalMart*, so I don;t care about thier ad. but I think WM will do what it tries to prevent. Which is, waiting til as late as possible to undercut others. I just hope we can have the same loophole this year, with the text ads & do away with scans if threatened. I was really sad to see the Target issue last year. BTW, did you ever get that worked out? I buy more from them in-store than online because of insane shipping charges, but if it was a good enough deal I'd click-thru from here lol.
  16. That is an awesome price. I think I paid around $5 after GCO from Buy.com. Too bad my new phone needs a sony card GRRRR lol. But that is an awesome price for a microSD!

  18. We own 3 and LOVE them! I actually have the one you linked as my personal MP3 player :) DD8 has a High School Musical one, and DD6 has Pirates :) I would recomend them a thousand times over!
  19. We used to have a store called Little Bucks...it was a .99 store. They all closed a few years ago tho When the one in GAinesville opened, they did TVs, DVD players, Ipods, etc for .99. I spent about 36 hrs in line, only to be the NEXT person The 1st person therewaited 3 days I believe. I was pretty mad, cuz they didnt limit the # you could buy. So needless to say, one guy got all teh TVs...grrrrr. I was able to get milk at .99 that day, lol, which was still a deal, but yeah....
