Dont feel bad! I drive about 1 hr 20min also! I usually sleep until around 1:30 or 2, and out the door! You are not alone!

I did the same at sears last year, and it was for a tv!

@hoever opens first with the most deals! it usually works out that i end up at Kmart for a 5am opening, target for 6am, then the mall. i have done JCP 1st, but have NEVER gotten a snowglobe! NEVER! Maybe that will be my goal this year...

We carpool anyways...meet up at a central location, park 2 cars, take 2 cars. Drop off items as needed. Everyone splits gas, so no one is out a large amount. Works for us!

I pretty much know the store layouts as well. No mapping necessary! just have my list of what i need from each store, in and out.

I usually arrive around 3:30 or 4. The malls are pretty crowded around here, although for the last 2 years we have been going to one that is kinda out of the way, so its a little less crowded, and has all other stores within 10 minutes.
