Doing an online search I guess its from Alcatel. I never heard of them, but Best Buy has the phone selling for $40 right now and gets pretty good reviews. Unless your store is like ours and its outdated as it hits the shelves. I haven't trusted buying soda at our place since they opened because everything is outdated or flat. But otherwise, it is a good deal.

Someone posted this on Youtube a few days ago, but I didn't believe it was legit. I'm just having a hard time finding too many deals in this one. $5 appliances were the same price a couple weeks ago, and saving 5 cents on trash bags???? REALLY???? I wasn't expecting a lot but was hoping for something that gave me a reason to walk a block away and get a few things, now it looks like I might if I get bored or something.

Its funny the moment I find really good deals on external hard drives, I realize I don't really need one like I did in the past. Oh well.

At this point, I'm surprised Kmart even has 12 pages. I didn't look too closely since all of them near me closed, but I think 12 is what they've had previous years when not including their Thanksgiving Day stuff and such.

For me the difference this year isn't so much they suck, but I'm not in the market for much, so a lot of stuff doesn't interest me. Though I do always enjoy this thread so I can't wait to see some of these replies.

Not seeing much I need, but its not bad I guess. Might have to look into the blu ray player.

I rarely watch these movies, but I already know you'd be drunker than the original Santa in Miracle on 34th Street pretty quick. I watched about 5 minutes of one of the movies the other day and knocked out a couple and predicted more would happen. Not sure the name but Candace Cameron was in it and Alan Thicke played her dad, something about a ski lodge I think.

I can't say about the 55" but I have two Element TV's and both work great for me. There are some minor annoyances but that could be something I could have checking into if I really wanted before I bought them. I bought a 40" for 100 bucks earlier this year and its perfect. My older one is a 32" and its a few years old and also never had issues with. In fact I think that one outlasted the Sanyo I had for a few years.

Don't want to be one of those people, but this ad doesn't look a whole lot better than a normal weekly ad. That's not to say I couldn't find a couple good things, but I don't see too many people making this their first stop.

I like it a lot, especially the movies. I hope we'll find out a few more movies on the list sooner than later since I have a few to pick up. It's just odd seeing ads with vinyl albums on sale but no CD's.

It has been a blast being a member of this club. While I didn't post a lot in other threads throughout the year, I did view a lot more threads by remembering to come back each month. For the rest of this month, I'm sure I'll be checking out the site about 20 times a day as Black Friday nears. Thanks Brad and Gottadeal for this T-shirt club and I'll wear my shirt with pride. Well, I already have, but with even more pride knowing I finally posted this month.

Never been big on Kohl's but I might consider going this year. Only been there once on BF and it was a madhouse, maybe a different location might not be as bad.

A couple ads out today? It's like trick or treating for grownups around here. So far though the candy has been peanut butter and Mary Jane's I can't wait for the Kit Kat and Snicker's of Black Friday ads to come out.

Wake me up when October ends. It didn't really hit me until this morning, but I'm getting the itch to see some ads.
-
I don't get AMC, but since I already have Christmas Vacation and Polar Express, I'm okay with Freeform losing their rights. I will be interested in what they replace them with. I wouldn't be against them showing blocks of classic TV shows from Disney and ABC that are Christmas themed.

PlayStation Classic - is this going to be a hot item this year?
rockpzazz replied to shopping4my3son's topic in 2018
I don't think the price will lower, so I'd just go ahead and preorder it to save your time in line if they really want it. I'm not sure if it will be a hot item like the Classic NES ones, but I'm sure it will sell out the first shipment or two. -
Congrats to the winners, there were some good ones this year as always.

Was out of town, and when I returned today I was happy to see my shirt arrived. One day earlier and I could have shown it off at a few thrift stores around the Metro Kansas City area.
-
I love the PDF's, but wasn't too concerned with the first couple ads not having them. I would have gotten worried if a bigger one didn't have one, but I understand its about time it will be a madhouse.

Congrats to all the winners!

It's not all that weird, but it never ceases to amaze me at the people that go shopping on Black Friday who are just on their normal trip browsing throughout the entire store. Since Walmart is about the only place I go anymore, I've seen countless people just taking their time with carts half full with food and an occasional other item or two. Maybe they just wanted a couple BF deals and figured to get the rest of their shopping done, but I don't think I could do that, I'd want to get out of there as soon as possible.

1. I NEED TO FIND SOMETHING TO BUY! I told the family it was essential to be in this line for 5 days. 2. In an unused scene from a recent movie about Black Friday, the studio realized the scene wasn't realistic. 3. Walmart: The NYSE of video gaming. I'm not as creative as in past years, but I'm starting to get into the spirit. Pretty sure I'll get a shirt from the club anyways, but this is usually my favorite contest.

Yeah, its not the most eye-pleasing, but I found some battery powered string of lights at the Dollar Tree also which fit on there nicely, and found a few other items from a second hand store to use as decorations. I believe I posted it on here at some point last year. I thought it turned out quite nicely. At worst I would have been out about 5 bucks so I couldn't complain too much. By the way, Happy October folks. My sister surprised me a couple weeks ago saying she wanted to hang out and go to some thrift shops and antique malls about 100 miles from here. So if all goes well I should be going in a couple weeks. Doubtful I buy gifts for anyone, but hope to snag a few things for myself.

I bought my first Christmas decoration the other day, but haven't taken it out of the box yet. Last year I mentioned I bought a Christmas Tree from Dollar Tree, and this year I found another one, but it's white. I'll post a pic when I get around to setting it up and decorating it.

Count me as one of those people who don't have a smart phone. I typed in the receipts on my laptop once I got home, and always enjoyed the process even though I knew if I had a smart phone I could just scan it. With this new development I guess I'm done with it.
