  1. I haven't checked in the last day or so but I heard its supposed to be rainy starting Thursday and lasting up to four days around here. I don't mind too much, but hope everyone that goes out is safe in those conditions.
  2. Here is the link to the Orscheln's Farm and Home Ad. ORSCHELN'S A regional midwest farm store, Orscheln's is headquartered in Moberly, MO and has quite a following. While they usually wait until the week of Black Friday to post their ad, many of my friends highly anticipate it, so I figured I would share it here. If you're like me, you like looking at any ad even if the place doesn't have a store in your area. While not as appealing as in previous years, there are a couple things in the ad I wouldn't mind getting.

    Slacker's Ad

Slacker's has posted their Black Friday ad. Slacker's is a video game (and movies and music) store with a lot of stores in the St. Louis and Mid-Missouri area. They have games ranging from NES to current gen games. Slacker's Besides video games, they also sell comic books, and Magic The Gathering items. They are also running some kind of deal with Record Store Day as well. The one thing that interested me is the pay what you want on the bargain bin CD's. Normally 5 for $5, I have found quite a few rare gems throughout the years. I might have to make a trip. http://www.slackers.com/wp-content/uploads/Black-Friday-2015.jpg
  4. It looks like the $1.99 CD's are on sale now, some of the $3.99 ones are too (including some that are listed at 1.99).
  5. Got my shirt in the mail today, thanks again!
  6. I thought they went out of business. I've went to RS once or twice on BF but never found anything I liked.
  7. I do the bulk of my grocery shopping there as its the closest store around. There is another grocer but I just don't like them. This has been accumulating for the last year so I've saved up just for these sales.
  8. Here's a trivia question I just read: When did Hallmark introduce their first Christmas cards?
  9. I'm curious how many copies of the Call of Duty game for a buck each store will have. No way I would risk that crowd just for that, but it would be interesting to find out.
  10. Did I miss the sweat pants in the ad? My sister got those for me a few years back and they were the heaviest pair of sweat pants I ever owned. Otherwise the ad looks good if you're an outdoorsmen, but I'm really not. I like inflatables but don't have room for them now or else I'd get the hunting snowman, it would go over good in my area.
  11. So after doing surveys, cashing in coke points and using the walmart savings catcher, I think I'm doing pretty well with shopping on BF. $25 Best Buy $41 Amazon (forgot how I got that extra $1) $40 Walmart (a little over that actually. Now if sudden expenses wouldn't pop up, I could use it on stuff I wanted. Instead I might have to buy other stuff. I guess I'll just have to pawn some other stuff. Oh well, it give me a reason to unload some stuff for cash.
  12. Nice lists. Congrats to all the winners, wear the shirts with pride!
  13. $1.99 CD's $3.99 CD's These were the pages they linked to earlier today from the ad before they pulled them. Obviously they deals aren't live, but there are a few already 3.99. I do think that's a lot of CD's for 3.99 so some might not be BF deals. I also still have a link to the $6.99 CD's too. Most of it was albums from this year.
  14. Something is up, I don't see the $1.99 CD's or the $3.99 ones. They did have pages dedicated for them, but I forgot what they were.
  15. I've already won a shirt, but this is my favorite contest, so I thought I'd share mine. I must admit, it was a little tougher this year than normal, as there isn't a lot I had on my list, so I had to comb through a few ads. WALMART 50" TV- $269 32" Roku TV- $125 Roku SE- $25 Men's Hoodie- $8.50 Chest Freezer $124 Deep Fryer $9.72 26" Mens Bike $59 Aladdin Blu-Ray- $9.96 Fast & Furious 6 DVD $3.96 Space Jam DVD- $1.96 OFFICE DEPOT 5 TB External HD- $119.99 Wireless Keyboard/Mouse- $19.99 BEST BUY Ghostbusters Blu-Ray- $3.99 Sony Blu-Ray Player- $49.99 SPORTS AUTHORITY Twin Airbed (x2) $19.98 SHOPKO Funai DVD Recorded/VHS- $147.99 OVERALL TOTAL: $998.03 The last 1.97 I would probably get a bottle of Sprite or something since I wouldn't have enough for Starbucks, and I don't drink coffee anyways.
  16. Didn't seem like too good of deals, but glad it finally came out.
  17. There are really two things I was searching for and they have it. I've been in the market for a bicycle, so I might get it. Luckily the Roku SE is same price in a couple other ads so with other gift cards I can get it elsewhere. That's leaves a little bit for movies, though none I really need. I'm in the boat of "I'm satisfied with this ad". I'm sure Walmart and many of the other stores will have BF like sales all through December anyways, so it shouldn't be a problem, I see more discounts coming.
  18. That's what I gathered from it. It does say check your store for hours, but I'd say unless your state has blue laws, it would be midnight Friday. Not sure how they would do the watches on Thursday though.
  19. I've never been in the market for one during BF, but do stores really sell that many washer and dryers to constitute pages of them being for sale?
  20. Here's an ad for the folks who misses the days of ad smuggling. It brought back some memories. I'm not sure where the closest BJ's Wholesale is to me, but it was fun to look at.
  21. Not bad on some of the movie deals, and glad I can find out a little more on the Roku SE. Now I hope Amazon or Walmart can match the prices since I have gift cards at those places.
  22. I was pretty sure of it then underneath it showed a 4 pack of the 4 Horsemen, that's when I assumed it was. I'm just glad he got HIS SPOT!
  23. I don't think it sucked, I think it was more of a "there isn't much I need here" kind of thing. I think I was most excited to spot an Arn Anderson action figure. Though a couple deals I did like, I'm still hoping on better deals on a Roku.
  24. Talk about Lack Friday sales. This one really lacked. Usually there is at least two or three things in an ad to tell people about (who foolishly never visit the site). This ad has nothing I would mention.
  25. So is it safe to assume the special edition Roku is a Roku 1? Still not a bad price, I hope Amazon or Walmart matches that. Still looking through the rest of it.
