My all-time favorite is the black and white 1947 version of Miracle on 34th Street. I can't even watch the colorized version, and don't get me started on the remake. My other faves are: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation A Christmas Story Home Alone That doesn't include the old TV shows like Rudolph, Grinch, and Frosty.

This is more for the people who stand in line or stay overnight (not sure how that will work with a lot of stores opening on Thanksgiving evening), but have a contest of the best tailgate party (for those who take pictures) and the winners will get T-shirts next year. Another idea is maybe anyone who is interviewed for the news with a GD shirt automatically wins a t-shirt for next year. and finally for those who make videos on youtube, whoever has the most creative Gottadeal video created wins a T-shirt. You must include a link to the video.

When did Ace start selling Craftsmen products? I thought they were Sears exclusive.
-
I just noticed it too.

Congrats to all the winners. Wear the shirts proudly.

I heard a local station playing K-Santa last week. I don't think its on now, it was mainly because it was in-between flipping stations. I thought its a bit early, but was cool to listen to a song or two.

So whats the thoughts on a 32" TV? My mom wants one and I wouldn't be against getting another one. I've seen a couple sub $200 deals, so would $120 be dreaming too much?

Picture #1: The people pictured were original Toys R Us kids. Picture #2: What happens in Deal Club, stays in Deal Club. Picture #3: After the picture was taken, somebody popped out of the tent and told the guitar player "I hope you find a tuner once we get inside". Good luck everyone, can't wait to see who wins.

Hats off to the winners. Maybe some that predicted ads coming out this week are right. Starting to get amped.

I know I'm late to the show, but the second I saw that Elmo I knew it was going to be a hot toy. Something about Elmo sells during the holidays. I think its because for the most part kids don't hate Elmo, they just outgrow it. While I've been browsing for my nieces, I have noticed a ton of Monster High stuff for sale. I can't tell any specific item, but in general I think they will be hot this year.

I will go with Dollar General on October 25th.

The Annual Black Friday 2012 Crazy Shoppers/Stories/News Reports
rockpzazz replied to stationchief's topic in 2012
Hope they are ok. I have a friend who works at a Walmart close to there and he suffers seizures as well. I'd like to hear more about this if you can find a link or something. -
Slackers Video game store has their black Friday ad posted on their website if anyone is interested. http://slackers.com/blog/2012/11/19/black-friday-2012/ I got it in their email today. It's a local video game store serving Missouri and parts of Illinois I believe.

thanks Brad. I can't wait. If all goes well, I'll be in a bigger city next year and I can wear the shirt and spread the word to more people.

I will try to help but I can't promise anything. I might be in and out but I can unofficially help if that can help you out a bit.

I talked to someone last year about Orscheln's ad, and they posted it 2-3 days before the sale on their website. When I was posting ads on my own site last year, they were one of the last ones I posted.

My favorite thing about Black Friday is actually seeing the ads when they come out and sharing with my friends the ones that are leaked.
-
Looking back, years past I have found many great deals Thank you Gottadeal.

#1. "Polaroid? Man these are giant cameras." #2. The Grim Reaper blends in well on black Friday. #3. This guy knows how to shop for Bed, Bath, AND Beyond.

October 17th is my guess for Half Price Books. The store that isn't even near me but I am still excited to see the ad.

I picked 1, 4, and 8, but I like 4 the best. I really like the orange shirts better. I know blue has been the past shirts, but something doesn't feel right about them. I'd also like to point out that #3 and #7 doesn't even show the website name, so I'm not a fan of them. I know the little logo is in the cart, but people may not know what it refers to.

This! My thoughts exactly.
