Got Screwed By Office Max???
nikkilugi replied to psagacious's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Those email addy's aren't personal. Usually it is pretty easy to figure out email addresses for corporate entities - most use a standard [email protected] type of configuration. Besides why not complain as high up as you can? I used to work as an assistant for a CEO of a publicly traded company and he invited any emails to come to him - he didn't want to be in the dark as to what his customers thought. -
Walgreens Ad this week - LOADS of $0.39 coupons

When you go to your Walgreen's you might also look around the isles for their yellow clearance tags. My store had some Christmas yard decorations on clearance for an additional $5 off the sale price as well as some magnetix in the toy isle. -
High School Musical SE DVD (dec 5th)

I have found around here anyway that Circuit City usually has their new releases a few cents cheaper than Wal-Mart. Best Buy usually doesn't go as low as CC or WM. We have a Nebraska Furniture Mart here in the KC area and they really have the best priced new releases - regularly $12.99. I know that doesn't help if you don't live near KC, Omaha, or Lincoln though. -
Rumor Walmart Black Friday Round 2

Yep my Wal-Mart matched any price as well - the only problem I had was that they told me that the store ad that I was PM'ing had to be open at the time. -
With the 50 cent coupon per 12 pack and the added bonus of the gift card that is a great deal! You will get 4 12 packs for $9 with $5 back to spend later.

Target has a My Little Pony Castle on sale for $49.99. You also get a $15 gift card with purchase.

Need help, possible Walmart price match???
nikkilugi replied to katiesmommy01's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Well you can buy one at Toys R Us and then return it to Wal-Mart with your original receipt. It might be a little bit of work though for $5. -
My Wal-Mart has tons of the Thomas $50 sets still available. They do have some Dora & Spongebob TV's left also but I think they raised the price on those. No idogs of course, LOL - the one thing I really wanted. Really not much at all - our Wal-Mart gets pretty busy around here.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2005-06
nikkilugi replied to Gator Pam's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I just went to my SuperTarget tonight to buy the Pepsi on sale and did a little perimeter perusing while I was there. My mom just rolled her eyes, LOL. Well I did happen to find the SAME power ranger set I bought for 30% off yesterday at my regular Target for 50% off today at that SuperTarget. I went ahead and bought one and will go back and return the more expensive set tomorrow. That is basically all I have found recently. -
Question on BF Dora TV Price at WM
nikkilugi replied to nikkilugi's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
really - well then my Wal-Mart marked theirs up. Their sign says that the price is $89.88 or .99 -
Hi. I don't have my ads anymore so I can't remember how much the Dora TV/DVD combo was on BF. My Wal-Mart has some and I want to make sure they are still selling them for the BF price before I decide to buy one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not done shopping yet either. I always get a few impulse gifts at the last minute and I don't think the 15th is too late by any means. Also my DH doesn't shop until the 24th either, LOL. I can't complain I always get everything I want - it is just never on sale. -
Brylane Home Use code BHOLIDAY. Good only for the next 3 days. The email I got said take an extra 20% off your favorite item so I am thinking this code is good for one item only I guess.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2005-06
nikkilugi replied to Gator Pam's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Well it has personally happened to me - the manager of the store even told me this was their policy at that store at that time. Now it hasn't happened to me very often but I did get my son's birthday cake for free because of their policy. They might have removed the items after my sale but I got to keep my item as well I should have. -

Also I found a endcap full of Power Rangers Target exclusive items marked down 30%. I went ahead and bought a couple of larger talking action figures for my nephew. That store also had quite a few of the Laugh & Learn double sets still available for $13.98. -

That's true it is impossible but many stores around here say that if their product doesn't ring up, i.e. it doesn't scan because it isn't in their system then you get it for free. I have had that happen at a couple of grocery stores in the area including Hy-Vee. -
There are plenty of multi-player games for X-Box. They might not be kids games but many of the sports games allow for 4 players. There are also fighting games that are multi-player as well. I know X-Box doesn't have as many younger titles but they do have a few out there. We have the regular X-Box and have Shrek and Finding Nemo so I do know that X-Box does have kids titles too.

I have to say that I like the fact that Wal-Mart is consistently cheaper than other stores. That is great. I don't mind the fact that the scanners are in the aisle. I'm not paying for scanners - I am there to get the best deal possible. Our Wal-Mart is not as messy as you are making it out to be. It just went through a major remodel and you can tell they are starting to transition to carrying more home interior type items like Target does - but I am happy to say that it doesn't seem that their prices have gone up thank goodness. I am very happy that they PM as well. I can get all my shopping done in one stop :) I would say the Wal-Mart and the Target's around here are pretty even in the amount of business they do - although it seems I have a harder time getting a good spot at Wal-Mart than I do at Target so around here I would say Wal-Mart is a bit more popular. As far as the stock price goes I think you are putting too much emphasis on the cost breakdown of merchandise. I don't think that is the reason at all. I think Wal-Mart has been riddled with bad press from them cutting employee's hours to hiring practices, to banning publications - etc. Wal-mart is a lightning rod for bad press. If a Walton family member gets caught picking their nose in public there is a news flash on CNN and the stock prices drops. I don't believe that Wal-Mart is doing any less business than Target. I haven't done the research on that - just making this statement based on my observations in my hometown of course.

I haven't called Magnavox, I just went on their website and looked at their replacement parts ordering section. That is where I got the price. I will have to give them a call today to see if I can get one sent to me free. That would really be nice. Thanks for the tip. -

Well while looking around one of my local Target stores I scoped out a couple of lcd tv's on an endcap - yes, lcd tv's. Well I looked closer and I see that neither one has a power cord. I get a sales associate and he goes and looks in the back and comes back with the remotes and the user's manuals but no ac cords for either one. Well the TV's are marked just about 30% off because they were floor models but I'm not sure that is enough considering that I have to buy an ac cord through Magnavox which is going to run about $43. I decided not to buy one tonight and mentioned to the salesguy that I would probably be back tomorrow to talk to a manager about discounting the price further since they don't have a power supply - and also to make sure that the TV does actually work - like making them use an exsisting plug to a similiar size TV. Gee - frustrating. What are they thinking putting out electronics without essential supplies. I thought I hit paydirt just to hit the ground hard - dang.
