I believe if you're logged in it automatically shows your time zone.

Of course, what I can snag online tonight will greatly impact what times I'm in what stores Thursday and Friday!

Walmart's Chief Merchandising Officer Leaves Company Days Before Black Friday
Bopeep replied to bigjimslade's topic in 2014
I would think most of his part of the holiday shopping season is probably already done. -
I received both of my Represent orders via USPS yesterday. Fingers crossed that everyone's come in, and they just have the wrong tracking #s listed or something!
-
I'm hoping to catch the xbox live card as well.
-
both of my orders show "out for delivery" today. I had them delivered to my office though, and I'm not there, so I can't confirm.
-
There are a couple movies and a game that I'm hoping to catch, so I don't have to fight the crowd for them at Walmart. I missed it when Amazon ran the Planes combo pack for 9.99 the other day.
-
I finally got notification of movement on my tracking numbers from Represent!
-
I'm going to hope they've ramped up their customer service for the holidays, and he was too new to know what he was talking about. As far as lightning deals being add-on items, it doesn't even make sense that the lightning deal would NOT override that. I hope that was just a one time glitch.

Bopeep replied to tn20's topic in Online Hot Deals
Price is back up to $21.98 . -
I picked up my OE gifts this evening, and I'll try to get them in the mail tomorrow. I hope she likes it .

My oldest son asked for a chameleon for YEARS. I always told him that Santa discussed it with Mama, and Mama didn't want a lizard in the house. To this day, he whines (jokingly) that Santa never brought him that chameleon - and he's 24. LOL
-
I hope a lot of folks complete this. I love reading everyone's answers.

Apparently, there were some people that figured out how to play the system. They listed a PS4 for a ridiculously low price, as a 3rd party seller on Amazon, then went to Walmart and got them to match it.

I did not receive a response to my email, but I did receive a shipping email from Represent .

1. Favorite Christmas movie? White Christmas 2.What are 3 things on your Christmas list this year? Nothing material for me. My wishes are that my kids and grandkids will appreciate the season for what it is. 3. Does it snow where you live? Occasionally. Actually, it snowed this past weekend. Unusual to get snow here this early in the year. 4. Do you celebrate Christmas, if not then what Holiday? Merry Christmas! 5. Favorite gift you’ve ever gotten? This is a toss up between my Mother's Ring I got last year (after asking for one for years), and the baby doll I got as a child that was part of the family and I still have . 6. Worst gift you’ve ever gotten? I honestly cannot think of a bad (actual) gift. I've taken some stuff home from Dirty Santa parties that I could've done without. 7. What time do you get up on Christmas? We do Santa gifts on Christmas Eve, so we don't get up extra early on Christmas Day. 8. Biggest pet peeve about the Christmas season? Hmmm, something negative about CHRISTMAS?? LOL. I guess my pet peeve would be the people that get offended by someone saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas". 9. Favorite Christmas song? I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day 10. Would you rather it be cold and cloudy, or be kind of warm out? Warm. I hate the cold. Although, I kind of need it to be cold for the Christmas spirit to kick in, but as soon as Christmas is over I wish it would stay in the 70s! 11. Hot chocolate or eggnog? Hot chocolate 12. Favorite thing to wear during the Christmas season? Anything festive 13. Anybody you’re hoping to bump into under the mistletoe? Matthew McConaughey 14. Embarrassing Christmas story? You would have just had to be there. 15. Favorite Christmas treat? Fantasy Fudge (I think it's the recipe on the marshmallow cream jar. Mama makes it) 16. Latest you’ve stayed up on New Year’s Eve? Well, years ago, it would have been nothing to see the sun come up on New Year's Day. Now, I head to bed shortly after the ball drops. 17. Favorite Christmas character? Santa Claus 18. What are you doing for the holidays this year? Christmas Eve, we will go to dinner and drive around looking at lights, then my kids and grandkids will be at my house for gifts. Christmas Day I will go to my mom's to hang out, then the Saturday after Christmas we will have Christmas dinner at her house. 19. Ever been to someone else’s family’s Christmas? no 20. Favorite pie flavor? traditionally chocolate. 2 years ago though I made a banana pudding pie. That was awesome, but it really was just banana pudding in a pie crust. 21. Your favorite Christmas tradition growing up? tractor/trailer rides on my aunt's land with all the cousins (there were a BUNCH of us). 22. White lights or colored lights? White lights on the tree, colored lights everywhere else. 23. Favorite Christmas dinner dish? Dumplins 24. Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? Christmas Eve 25. What tops your tree? a star 26. Candy canes- Yum or Yuck? Yum 27. Egg nog or Hot Chocolate? Still Hot Chocolate. 28. Do you hang mistletoe? not usually 29. Favorite Christmas activity? shopping 30. Favorite Christmas story? THE Christmas story That was fun. Thanks.

Hmmm, I don't know which would be worse now that I think about it.

Once, when my oldest boy was small, we went to see Santa at the mall. When Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas, DS said "That one" and pointed to a particular wrapped gift that was part of the set. You might be surprised how difficult it was for me to find solid green wrapping paper a week before Christmas! Another time, same son, wanted nothing but the little stuffed Rudolph that was sitting beside Santa's seat. I had everybody looking for that reindeer. I think we finally found one very similar at JCPenney.

I have sent an email. I will let you know if I receive a response of any kind.

I have ordered my SS gifts, and they should be in next week. I still haven't made it to the store for the OE, and I really wanted to have that in the mail this week. Maybe I'll get out of the office in time to stop this evening (of course, I might get out of the office earlier if I'd get off Gottadeal and get some work done, huh?).

We have attempted to be organized a year or two, but I'm impatient, LOL. Also I go way overboard and buy too much so if we tried to be organized it would take all night. After reading your responses though, I wish we were more organized. Maybe this year. But probably not.

For years, I filled the boys' stockings with nothing but candy. And my oldest didn't like chocolate, so I bought the boxes of Nerds, Gobstoppers, Starburst, etc. Usually, I overestimated and all the candy I bought wouldn't even fit in the stocking. Last year I realized that I had tons of leftover candy sitting on my cabinet from various holidays, and it was absolutely ridiculous to buy a bunch more. SO, they each got one box of their favorite candy, and then a small wrapped gift and a gift card of some kind. I think that's what I'll do again this year. **I also used to put candy in my own stocking. From now on, I'm sure my stocking will hang empty because they won't think about it but that's okay .

I love having Prime, and for me it pays for itself even at $99. Getting it for $59 would be awesome, but it really depends on your usage. I shop a lot on Amazon, so the free shipping is a big deal for me. Add in the 1 free book a month, the Amazon Video, the Music streaming, and now the Prime Photos (which I have not used yet so can't really comment on), it's more than worth it.
