I haven't tried their store brand. I honestly didn't even know they had one until I saw this ad. LOL.

I feel like the 2nd sale will be much better, and it will be more of a Black Friday sale. But that might be my nostalgia sneaking in and creating wishful thinking .

Congrats to the winners! I really enjoyed this thread and will be saving some of these recipes, for sure!

Yeah, the way I understand it, Apple sets their prices and any store that sells their products has to adhere to those prices. BUT, the stores can throw extras in with them to compete and make them a deal.

I like that they are only doing 2 sales this year, and that this first one doesn't seem to have all the regular WM BF items. I'm hoping that means their Thanksgiving week sale will be the bigger one, which just feels more like a Black Friday sale to me :). Also, a couple of my girls that go shopping with us don't do the online shopping thing as much. So, I feel like they will have more of a chance to get the deals on Black Friday, if they didn't go on sale 3 weeks earlier.

I'm in! -
Those of you that have signed up, Please check the lists and make sure I have you down for the exchanges you signed up for :).

When the sales started in the middle of the night, and people had their littles out in that mess, I used to get so angry. I guess, for me, the biggest dislike is when store employees don't know what's going on or where things are located.

$19.87 for a pack of 60 AA or AAA. And I guess they are a Home Depot house brand. Which, is actually better than they offered last year, now that I look. They didn't have the cheap batteries last year. But in 2021, they had 40 packs or Rayovac for just $7.88.
-
Wow. The batteries certainly went up.

Less than 1 week to get your info in We're missing a few regulars. I hope all is well with them. I understand if they need to opt out this year though, things are kind of tough right now. I hope all that can play, will. And I hope all that want to play, can. If there's anything I can do to make it easier, please reach out!

Anxious to see prices. My granddaughter told me she wants LOL Minis for Christmas. I wasn't sure what they were, but they are in this list :).

My son was asking me just yesterday to keep an eye out on a deal on a trampoline. I think this is probably as good as it'll get this year.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Dessert: 20 Oreo cookies, divided 2 tablespoons butter, softened 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup peanut butter 1-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar, divided 1 carton (16 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided 15 miniature peanut butter cups, chopped 1 cup 2% milk 1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate fudge pudding mix Crush 16 cookies; toss with the butter. Press into an ungreased 9-in. square dish; set aside. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter and 1 cup confectioners' sugar until smooth. Fold in half the whipped topping. Spread over crust. Sprinkle with peanut butter cups. In another large bowl, beat the milk, pudding mix and remaining confectioners' sugar on low speed for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Fold in remaining whipped topping. Spread over peanut butter cups. Crush remaining cookies; sprinkle over the top. Cover and chill for at least 3 hours. It's pretty rich, but oh, so good!

Walmart released their November plans on 10/19 last year. This year, they had a news release on the 18th that talks about the holidays, but nothing about planned sales . Always keeping us on our toes, I guess.

Congrats winners!!

Costco Black Friday Ad (11/23 to 11/27)
Bopeep replied to Brad's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I wish I had taken advantage of the Groupon deal on Costco membership a couple months ago. By the time I decided to go for it, I had waited too long. I don't think I'd shop there often enough to make the regular membership price worth it, but there are a few deals in this ad that I liked. -
About 2 and 1/2 weeks to get signed up. You know you want to play!

I so remember that. It hurts, and I'm sorry. The magic isn't gone, but it does change for a while. I'll tell you, when I could surprise my teen boys with something they really wanted but couldn't imagine they'd get, that was a whole new kind of magic! Eventually, maybe, you have grandchildren and the old magic returns for a while. I sat with my youngest grand earlier today (he's 3) and went through the Amazon wish book page by page.

We usually end up in store at Walmart, Target, Academy, Bath & Body, and Atwoods (regional store kind of like Tractor Supply). We used to go to Mardel's every year but they quit doing a BF sale a few years back. Our favorite used to be Gordman's. I really miss that store (but only at BF/Christmas time, so if everyone else was like me I guess that's why they're gone ).
-
That is really cool, and I'm so happy for you that you were able to get it done.

I've added the question. If anyone that has already submitted their info wants to, you can answer that question and re-send.

Photo #1 – Tonight we’re shopping like it’s 1999. Photo #2 – All these bags, and not a single toy store purchase Photo #3 – Fine, I’ll go. But I am NOT getting dressed!
