I said I'm pretty sure those are just mug cakes and I can get them a whole lot cheaper in the baking aisle at the grocery store. But, you know, where's the fun in that? And, of course, what the princess wants the princess will probably get :).

I lurk in a Christmas decorating group on Facebook, and they all talk about The Grand Duchess tree at Home Depot. I personally can't afford it, but it is a very pretty tree. That said, I got my tree at Home Depot like 8 years ago on Black Friday and I still love it. The dog chewed through the lights on the bottom his first year, but I just turn that side toward the wall :).

We have pretty plain palates, so our Thanksgiving will just be: turkey dressing mashed potatoes turkey gravy deviled eggs rolls and, of course, desserts. I'll make a banana pudding. I don't know what others will bring. I'm trying to make gluten free dressing for my dil. Gator Pam told me how to make it come out the texture and consistency I want, so I'll be testing that this weekend. I don't know about Christmas this year. We've always had chicken and dumplins for our Christmas dinner at Mom's. We lost her in August and I don't guess we are planning to have an all family dinner anymore. I've been told that's the plan for years, but I don't like it. On Christmas day, my sisters and I will be together, but that day we usually just do sandwiches. I might surprise them with chicken and dumplins :).

I know he needs a new headset, I just can't decide if he really needs a $100 headset. LOL

That caught my eye as well. I just added it to my gifting wishlist for my kids. I would have liked this when I used to take my lunch breaks in my car :). -
Ideas for Saran Wrap balls for late teen to adults
Bopeep replied to stephdig's topic in Holiday Discussion
You could do different denoms of cash. Throw in some ones, maybe a couple fives, just one ten. Maybe some candy that is reminiscent of their childhood. I've never played the game (I've seen it), so I don't know how much fun this would be - but what if you used "coupons" for things that wouldn't actually wrap well? Like, if one of the gifts was an ornament (I just picked something in my eyesight to use as an example :)) and you included a picture of it in the ball but not the item itself. Does that make sense? -
Little Tikes Tobi 2 Robot https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08W28ZR72/?coliid=I2LUZSDAM17406&colid=3VHLSFABL98MP&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it My granddaughter asked for this. It's got games, and a selfie camera. She thinks she can talk to her friend who also has one, but I can't find that particular feature on it.

Praying the surgery went well!

Well that was fun to peruse, but I didn’t see anything that made me want to run out and get a Costco membership. I do wish they would put a final price on everything instead of saying it’s so much off.

I'm looking for a dressing recipe, because my sister and I only know how to use StoveTop :). I recently tried this one. The flavor was good, but I prefer a more moist (dare I say, mushy?) dressing. I left out the apples, and I may add more broth. I don't know if that will help . Anyway, it's Gluten Free (for my daughter in law); maybe you'll like it: https://www.mamagourmand.com/gluten-free-stuffing/ Ingredients 1 recipe gluten-free bread (2 pound loaf) see recipe notes for using store-bought bread 9 ½ tablespoons butter divided 3 celery stalks diced 1 medium onion diced ⅓ cup fresh parsley minced 1 ½ teaspoon dried sage (2 tablespoon fresh minced) ¾ teaspoon dried thyme (1 tablespoon fresh minced) ¾ teaspoon dried marjoram (1 tablespoon fresh minced) 1 ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon pepper 3 large eggs 1 egg yolk 1 apple peeled and diced 2 cups gluten-free chicken broth Instructions Begin by slicing the bread into 1/2-inch cubes and divide between two baking sheets. Let dry at room temperature for 24 hours. Alternatively, toast the bread cubes in a 225ºF oven for 30-40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. 1 recipe gluten-free bread (2 pound loaf) Liberally grease a 9X13-inch dish with ½ tablespoon butter. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Melt 6 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the celery and onions. Cook and stir for 8-10 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft. 3 celery stalks,1 medium onion Add the parsley, sage, thyme, marjoram, salt, and pepper. Cook and stir for 1 minute longer and remove from heat. ⅓ cup fresh parsley,1 ½ teaspoon dried sage,¾ teaspoon dried thyme,¾ teaspoon dried marjoram,1 ½ teaspoon salt,½ teaspoon pepper In a large bowl whisk the eggs and egg yolk. Add the dried bread, apple, butter herb mixture, and pour broth over everything. Gently stir to combine. 3 large eggs,1 egg yolk,1 apple,2 cups gluten-free chicken broth Spread the mixture in the prepared baking dish. Melt remaining 3 tablespoons butter and drizzle over the top. Cover securely with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for 20-25 minutes longer, or until the top starts to brown -
Got it now!

I went through on my phone last night and saved several items in my list. Then this morning I went through and one by one, for one reason or another, deleted everything I had saved. Now I'm bummed because I didn't find anything to actually buy. LOL

I love seeing big Halloween displays. There a couple houses in my small town that really go all out. Unfortunately, I don't have enough storage space for decorations for anything but Christmas (and even that is not a big outdoor display) :). I agree Freesia, I LOVE the 12 ft skeleton!
