Congratulations winners!
-
I received my ornaments today. Thank you so much!! I LOVE them both, but especially the "HOPE" one.
-
Happy December! Bluebear reminded me, I still have to go get the candy for the grandkids’ Advent calendar! Darn, late again.
-
Had a ton of fun. Spent a ton of money. Must have been a success, because I am exhausted.
-
There is a printed ad. I'm happy to send you one if you still need it.
-
Just my luck, none of the things on my list are on the early sale. But looking through the sale, I've added more to my list. Funny how that works.

Our mets were talking tornadoes on Friday, but they're backing off of that for now. We should have yucky drizzly weather Friday morning, which will stabilize the atmosphere and not let big storms form.
-
Last year, we had one received the same day, 11/23. In 2017, though, we had one received 11/8, two on 11/14, one one 11/15, and one on 11/17. (I'm a digital hoarder, so I keep the spreadsheets, LOL).

Rain rain rain. and mid 40s. But it's supposed to be sunny and nice all weekend, of course.

I don't remember ever seeing a Hobby Lobby BF ad before. Cool. eta: I guess it's not so much a BF ad, as a regular sales bill. Oh well, still cool.
-
I finally caught the whole commercial. It's called The Moody's Christmas. It just looked similar to me, probably because it has Denis Leary yelling at a couple sitting on a couch. LOL
-
Thanks for the links! I know sometimes when they redo the site for the sale, I can't find the lightning deals.
-
We have our first SS & OE shipping confirmation! Things are about to get good.
-
I have a FoodSaver, and I really like it. The only problem I have with it, is it'll only do about 6 or 7 bags in a row before it needs to rest. It can sometimes take a while if I have a lot to do. I've never used anything else, so I can't compare, but the one you linked seems to have a lot of great reviews.

I like It's a Wonderful Life, but it's not a must watch. I LOVE Holiday Inn. But I'm totally in to Bing and Fred, and singing and dancing. Throw in some Danny Kaye and Gene Kelly, and I always say they were just a whole different kind of sexy . Are they remaking The Ref? Or have they made a movie that seems just like it? I keep seeing bits of commercials but haven't caught the whole thing.

My grandsons' football team got to play in Dallas Stadium this weekend, so while we were down there we went to a giant Christmas store. I looked around to get my ornament exchange person something, but really the ornaments were the same as I could find locally for a third of the price. It was a cool place though. If you're ever in Arlington, you should stop at Decorator's Warehouse, just to look.

All time favorites are: White Christmas Holiday Inn Miracle on 34th St I love the Santa Clause movies (even the last one, lol). And one that is really not a Christmas movie, but it has Santa and Jack Frost in it so I'll count it, The Rise of the Guardians. I love that movie! I did really enjoy The Christmas Chronicles last year. Probably too new for me to consider it a favorite yet . I watch all the Hallmark Christmas movies, but really the stereotypes are right. They ARE all basically the same. So while I love them, I would not count any of them in my favorites either. I'm looking forward to watching Noelle on Disney+, whenever I get time in the next couple weeks. And, I'll try Klaus on Netflix.

I went with the air fryer, because that's what gets used the most. But, yeah, if I had to get it out and put it up, it would probably NEVER get used. I have a tiny kitchen, but luckily I do have a counter corner that's perfect to leave the AF out all the time.

I can't remember who I was with, but we were talking about those toilet paper blasters just the other day. We were in agreement that toilet paper is too darn expensive for that. LOL

WooHoo! Congrats winners!

Have you chosen your first stop yet or are you waiting for all the ads?
Bopeep replied to magickallight's topic in 2019
Most of my shopping gets done online, so our first stop depends on what my sister and daughter need most. It's usually Target or Walmart, and if I had to guess I'd say it'll be Target this year. -
It says prices good November 26-30, but I can't tell if that starts a separate section of the ad. They won't be open on Thanksgiving. They are actually one of my favorite stores to go to on Black Friday, and I think it's because we still have to get up early and stand in line outside. LOL

They may have changed things, but I tried shopping them online a few years ago and they wouldn't even let me set up an account because there wasn't a store near my zip code.

Hallmark Channel & Movies & Mysteries Countdown to Christmas Movie Schedules
Bopeep replied to magickallight's topic in 2019
I had to update my lists this weekend. Hallmark moved some stuff around on their schedule. They do it every year, but it still irritates me. LOL -
When my boys were growing up, I always filled their stockings with candy. Now that I have grandkids, their parents only let them have 1 or 2 pieces of candy at a time (they're probably better parents than I was, LOL), so I hate to give them a bunch of candy that they aren't going to enjoy. I just quit doing stockings a few years ago. No one seemed to notice or care. LOL
