I totally get it! I find myself saying, "um, don't really have one" a lot, and I know that's not helpful. I even said out loud "why are we still asking this question?" on the what have you always wanted but would never buy yourself question. LOL I'm always open to suggestions if we want to change the questionnaire up!

I wish I were the type to decorate for fall. I would love to have a decorated house, I just don't like doing the decorating . I will start my Christmas decorations the week before Thanksgiving, and put up the tree and finish everything up the weekend after.

I do believe I love this shirt.

If you decide to make these cookies, keep in mind it's written out as a quad batch. We've done these cookies every year since I was a kid (well, I guess my mama did these cookies when I was a kid, and the rolling pin has been passed to me). Sometimes I think I should do different kinds of cookies, but everyone that gets these loves them, so there's that. I am thinking of trying a hot cocoa sandwich cookie with a marshmallow buttercream filling this year. We'll see.

I haven't used lay away in years, so this doesn't affect me. And yet, I'm seriously angry about it. I think it's the 10-30% interest rate. I'm just thinking about that young mom (that I was) that needs lay away for one reason or another to ensure her kids have Christmas, and now they are going to exploit that. grrrrr

I generally prefer light grey tshirts. I am not a fan of white (but I would wear it! ).

I use Peter's caramel (comes in a loaf) and I order it and Merken's chocolate from Stover & Co. This year, Stover & Co has their own branded melting chocolate, so I'm thinking of trying that instead of the Merken's. Haven't decided for sure though because I hate to mess with what's tried & true.

I went to plan my order for my chocolate and caramel from the company I buy from, and the caramel is showing out of stock. I wasn't going to order for about 10 more days, so it'll probably be back in stock in time, but I admit I panicked a little. Amazon has it, but at like 3x the price. I don't want to use Kraft caramels. Not that there's anything wrong with Kraft, but it's just not what I use. So, ya, it'll be back in stock in time, right? I need some reassurance. Y'all have me so nervous. LOL.

OK, so, I always conflate Black Friday with Christmas season when these questions come up (like, what is your BF budget? Do you mean my Christmas budget?). So, Do you mean just Black Friday sales, or I can only buy 1 thing for Christmas? 1 thing on Black Friday - probably the Nintendo Switch my grandson wants. I figure surely there will be bundles available again for BF, as opposed to buying just the console now. 1 thing for Christmas, period? - Yeah, I'm just not buying anything at all if I can only buy 1 thing .

I shop for about 20, plus GD Secret Santa and our family Dirty Santa. 8 of those are kids and grandkids, so of course there's multiple gifts for those (usually about 13-14 a piece, but this year the 2 oldest grands might get 1 big expensive gift. They are getting too big to throw a bunch of toys under the tree). The rest just get 1 .

ads, sales, deals, tradition, of course GottaDeal. I agree with Len in that Black Friday has always been the start of the Christmas season for me, but I realize not everyone that loves Black Friday actually celebrates Christmas.

I've been picking up a few things with every grocery order for my cookies and candies, but that's been more about spreading out the expense. I'm getting a little nervous about other things though.
