me too! I bought the gs29 at walmart, because i knew bb would be out. I was told that this one was windows compatible and took a SD card. NOPE!

Wearing slippers is much too dangerous to me! I wear my steel toed docs, LOL! I got asked several times, "what's this? or Is this something I need?" I was in line for vsmiles, and people would walk by and poke through the plastic and ask what it does, what ages it's for, etc.

That's what we have to do. We also have a christmas dinner christmas eve, at 5:00, so no family traditions there. Before my dh's dad moved and he lost touch with his mom, we opened presents here at 5 or 6, dressed and gone to my mom's by 7, his dad's at 11, his aunt's at 1, his mom's at 3, and my grandma's at 5. Plus, my aunt's on Christmas eve. It is absolutely miserable. Now, we still go 3 places other than home on Christmas day. The reason we go to my mom's so early, is that my little sister is still at home and not allowed to open gifts until we're there. She starts calling at 6. Now she's 19, and every year it gets a little later and later. I would LOVE to hang out here for a while, but I have to remember, Christmas morning with the kids was mom's tradition too, and my 2 are the only grandkids, so they want to spoil them.

I heard that too, but I think I read somewhere that it was an unsubstantiated rumor.

I'm from Missouri, and of course, there is a horrible stigma attached to Arkansas, as far as being backwards and slow. I never really believed it, but if the WalMart corp is a big chunk of the population....

I hope so!! I wonder what kind of stuff they will drag out of there.. The little old walmart about 25 miles from here had about 30 game boy colors the other day. Still in their original package, and they were trying to clearance them for $50.00!!!

around $400. There wasn't much I liked, and I may return the camcorder which was a big chunk. It was advertised to work w/ windows and use an SD card. I ended up w/ a model that doesn't use SD and only works on MAC. Oh, and we blew $25 on a NASTY breakfast at Shoney's.

does kmart offer their ads online?

there were fights over those and the easy bake ovens at the WM I went to on Friday. Last night, I went to the other WM, and all they had left from blitz was 6 of each bratz doll and 2 pallets of easy bake ovens. Isn't it weird how it works out?

mine too.. the least busy pallet, and i thought it would be one of the hardest to get.

I got everything and more. I did go to lowe's later this morning after a tree for mom and they were gone. But that was at 9:30.

maybe I should head on over there... it's a shame my list isn't very long, their prices suck!!

Great news, I called our other walmart and they said not to worry about the ads, they had a stack at the customer service desk and if the cashier didn't have one or gave me any hassle, to let her know. She gave me her name and hours, etc.

i just called one of mine and management said no... looking up # to call the rest

not without driving 30 miles to pick up the same one in the town with Target.

I would love to, but Target's ad didn't come today.. Do you think they will accept print outs?

My Target ad wasn't even in the paper. I went back to the store and we went through about 20 papers.. ruined my pm idea.

On the bright side, if you go to that walmart, it's just across the street to Ryan's breakfast buffet. I haven't ever talked to anyone who goes to Branson. If we hit the outlets, we head up to lake of the ozarks. Last year, we did take the kids to Splash Country Indoors in February, and got amazing deals at the outlet. I haven't had to buy my kids clothes at all this winter. Most things were from TCP and tommy, and were less than $3.00. We always go to Lebanon, but this year i'm leaning more towards marshfield. We did try Springfield once, my second year, and didn't get anything we went after and stood in line for hours. What time will you get the paper in the morning? ours doesn't get to the store until around 6.

not really.. my dh goes, and now we're w/o a sitter. I recommend that if you are going to WM, head back down to Marshfield (or buffalo- old small walmart). It's a brand new SC, and it will be a lot less crowded than springfield. Springfield is crazy, we try to pm everything at WM and Sears, and then head to Spfd for other things. My only advice is to stay CLEAR of Bass Pro. Also, we had thought about hitting Branson this year because of the new Landing, and the outlet malls. They also have an old regular walmart and a SC, and a brand new Target too. Oh, there's a new bass pro there also. Branson isn't that crowded in the winter.

Mine are 5 years and 1 week apart. DS7, DD2. I think it's kind of harder, because you can't buy them anything together. For example, board games, video games, toys, movies, etc. You can't buy anything universal.

The nitro vision is like a desktop computer that hooks up to the TV. He's in huge trouble right now, because he has a great GB case, but we can't find ANY of the games. He was told he couldn't have another until he could find the games.. he came out with 1.
