If anyone else is in the same boat, call them again this morning. They are taking phone #'s to call you when they get a decision back from corporate about substituting or compensation. Heck, I'd be happy w/ a gift card or something. Who knows if they will call, but it's worth a shot.

I have been on the phone with TRU most of the morning. Now, they are waiting on a decision from corporate. We are apparently flooding them with phone calls. They are supposed to take your name and # to call you when they receive the orders about substitution or compensation. Who knows if they will actually call. I will keep you updated.

In my class, there is an Aide, but she is there strictly to care for an autistic boy. There are several assigned to special needs kids throughout the school. I know some places are different, but many follow this policy. If that helps!

Surely if these deals are something that's not already been advertised, SOMEONE will have to see them, whether it is during packaging, shipment, or receiving. . WM is really starting to tick me off this year, it's like they are baiting us for some sort of money giving trap. They'll win, of course, but that's not the point. Anyone else feel like a fish after bait?

I cannot find corporate's email on the website. I am so fed up with this. What's funny is that we spend thousands in there yearly. We buy almost all clothes, shoes, diapers, and always bought formula there. I told them they would lose that all for a measly $175.00. Pretty stupid business plan.

I am kicking myself for not doing printing it. Sears woulda price matched it. I am not sure what we should do.. I am so ticked off!

I ordered a Little Tikes Log Cabin yesterday. This was advertised on the website for $75.00, retail $299.00. Today I received the cancellation notice. The item still shows in stock. When I called them, they just told me they are OOS, and will not get any in until summer. They have spend time cancelling all orders, but STILL haven't had time to update their website. Sounds to me like someone made a mistake and they don't want to honor it. I have heard horrible things about toysrus.com, mainly pertaining to order cancellation. I understand why now. They refuse to do anything about it, and they will not substitute a comparable item. Does anyone have any ideas? I really wanted this for my daughter for christmas, and the price was amazing. I absolutely refuse to pay full price for it from TRU, and littletikes.com shows that it is OOS.

I called them.. the rumors are correct, they DO have the worst customer service EVER!! The item shows in stock at regular price, they said it is OOS. They said that they could not honor the price, or substitute a comparable item. It was supposedly a huge mistake. Go figure. Someone screwed up, and they don't wanna cover it. I can't see how they have time to go through and cancel all of these orders, but STILL haven't had time to change the website.

Circuit City B&M has these for 24.99.. or they did yesterday. Check their website for availability. It is the Robopet though... They also had the roboraptor for 39.99, but it went up to 49.99.. still a good deal.

I've seen the posts about that. That's why I was so worried. I noticed today that there is a 10.00 of $75.00 link on the page (at TRU) with the playhouse. I figure it was an error. They told someone to put the $75 on it. LOL! Hopefully my gain, my kids will be SO excited.

Good thing you guys are going to monitor this Brad. I have little faith in the Walmart website after all of the complaints about the Elmo thing. If their server wasn't strong enough to handle Elmo traffic, how will it handle us?!?!?!

What about the Spark Art Easel by FP for the 2 year old. I have a 7year old with everything. This year he is getting a Matthews Compound bow. He has had a recurve for a few months, and loves to hunt! He's getting a .410 for his b-day. Of course, if you are 'city folk' these won't work for you.

I bought a ton of these at WM a few weeks ago for $30.00 on clearance. There were still some left last week at a different WM for $50.. might check the clearance aisles. I sold all of mine, or I'd let ya have one. Even my kids aren't getting them for christmas, lol!

That's so funny.. i actually did this the other day. We were at a Wal-mart about 15 miles away, on our way home from line standing for TMX. I saw they had the TMX Barbies on the shelf. I didn't have my laptop, so I couldn't tell if they had them in stock a lot now, or if i needed to buy them for extra christmas $$. I hid 5, very discreetly. Came home and looked 'em up, and they are bringing less than retail. If anyone needs them, I'll tell you where they are hid. I'm not making a trip back to 'release' them!
