you're welcome. Someone sent me a link for tons of others in a thread I posted a while back. They are more gourmet. I am not too big on french toast, so I thought I would start cheap and simple. If you buy your french bread at walmart, it's 77 cents, so you're looking at about a $3 dish that probably feeds a ton. I will look for that link if you need it.

This was in our church cookbook, I've never had it, but the woman that put it in is a pretty good cook! and it sounds so easy and my IL's have no tastebuds whatsoever, so they are good guinea pigs. 1 10oz loaf French Bread, cut into 1 inch cubes 3 C. Milk 8 eggs 4 tsp. sugar 1 tsp vanilla 3/4 tsp salt Topping: 2 Tbsp. butter, cubed 3 Tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. ground cinnamon Place bread cubes in a greased 13x9x2 pan. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Dot with butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over the top. Cover and bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve with syrup.

hehe, I was coming here to post about batteries also. I have been on my mom to buy some for the roboraptor she got DS all week!! Good thing I remembered, or he would have been devastated. I have to pick up one more thing, SYRUP for the french toast casserole I have to take to SIL's Sunday. I also ran out of TP, mouthwash, fabric softener, soap, wipes, and trash bags today!! Yikes! That will be such a miserable trip.

Things might sound bad, BUT, all of these problems, aside from the barre, were fairly simple to resolve. I promise you, it can get MUCH worse!!!

I really like our UPS driver, and I saw him at the neighbors last night at 8:00 pm. He is done coming here, but each time I tell him when to expect to see me, he just laughs, and says it doesn't matter, as long as I order, he's glad to deliver. I do feel bad for them, but remember, they picked their job knowing the holiday hours. No one feels bad for me during tax season when I do the same!

We set the pickles under the stocking. Although, they would fit in the stockings we got this year, if there was any room left. I don't want to rip them off of the wall. The pickles are the only thing that I make sure to repeat every year. this year, ours have: chapstick makeup (DD) assorted toys from Amazon's sale wooden musical instruments books crayons pads of paper finger paints pencils pens coloring books cars beads craft kits video games Little Tikes animal flashlights toothbrushes ornaments lottery tix and don't even ask me what else, I've been stuffing junk in them for weeks!!!

Here's my good news!! Corporate called me tonight, to verify the story and assess their customer service problems. The woman profusely apologized and told me that there will be a meeting held to teach all CSR's how to track, input, and deal with customers. She was amazed that I found it, when they couldn't. I explained to her all of the time and stress involved. I have her direct extension to call with any further problems. and, my FREE log cabin shall arrive tomorrow!!!!!!! :gdevillaugh:

I can honestly empathize with you!!! I have been in a panic for 2 weeks looking for our Santa gift. It has been sitting all alone on a loading dock, because TRU had our address wrong and wouldn't release our phone #. If I hadn't taken the initiative, and the tremendous long distance phone bill to call every place in the country, I wouldn't have found it. I would definitely look for a tracking #, and if your friend has never let you down, something is odd. If she has plenty of money, you would think she would feel bad enough to overnight ship it to you. Is it a free standing bar? Ours was mounted to the wall, and If I'm not mistaken, it was the same thing our stair rails were. a long round wooden pole, with brackets that held it up. I am positive you can buy something like that at Lowe's. Just an idea, I'm picturing Santa in a tool belt. One could probably be fashioned out of PVC Pipe also.

No, I am not counterfeiting, I am looking for a site that I can add a picture to the front of a dollar bill, preferably something free that I can print at home. I thought it would be a nice addition to add 'betting dollars' to the football fanatics stationery pack I made. Each game is a standard one dollar bet. If the packers lose, she sends everyone a dollar, if they win, we send her a dollar. I thought it would cute to send them 'packers dollars' when she lost.

I have looked at all BM and online stores for this for my SIL, and finally found a ton at one walmart... just call around, if you have one in a smaller town, they may have it.

a recurve is your basic string on the bow. The old fashioned type. A compound has a string attached to cams, and is more often used for hunting. I would recommend that you also purchasea foam block target, or some other type. Depending on your location, you may still be able to purchase them. I wasn't able to get one from walmart this late, but bass pro had them. (the original, HUGE bass pro) Our bow also came with an arm guard, and these are inexpensive. I would recommend buying a few extra arrows also. They do break easily and wear with use. On clearance at our WM for 1.50 each, usually $3.50.

Melissa, Did you get yours put together? Was it difficult or easy, and how long did it take? We're pressed for time now!! I got the guy to deliver it to my parents', just hope it will fit in the back of our truck to haul it home!

okay, for an update: After calling every freight company I could think of with similar tracking #'s, I realized that UPS Chain Solutions is a subsidiary of UPS Freight. Finally, I hear, "here it is!" It has been sitting on a dock 20 minutes away for over 2 weeks!!! TRU didn't give them my #, which is unlisted, and he said he had been trying for 2 weeks to get them to give it to him. They had my address wrong, so he couldn't look it up either. It will be delivered Thursday morning. He said he was about to panic because he knew it was a little kid's Christmas present. TRU was no help, if I hadn't taken matters into my own hands, I never would have gotten it! GRRRRRR!!!!!! I REINSTATE MY FULL FLEDGED BOYCOTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

okay, after 4 hours, my cabin has been lost. They will not send another, and will not refund my $$ until they find it. Fedex has no record of it. It was sgipped ground. What really PISSES me off is that when i called last week, i was told that it was sent freight and would take 14 days. Now it is 10 days late, they claim they have no more, and if they did, wouldn't honor the price, don't do reships, etc. I am on hold for a supervisor. I have spent hours on here today!! This is my final straw!!!!
