I also do everything by hand, but my mother always uses a food processor to chop anything. She makes awesome salsa with it. Are you using fresh tomatoes and canning it, or just using canned to eat as you make it? If you're making tons, I would use a food processor. I have a cheap one from Walmart, and it works fine in moderation. Mom has a cuisinart, and loves it. You can buy a refurb one on Amazon for around $40.

We have it and love it. We were unable to get any cards because we have no credit. This one came right away with a 5000 limit.

I hit the mother load there today. I had 4 big bags of stuff for $39 with the coupon. Ours doesn't carry much for bigger boys, or smaller boys too for that matter. DD ended up with tons of stuff. I finally have great Target news. I went to the Lake, which is about an hour away. They have great stuff in the winter, because the population is only about 2000. In the summers the pop soars to 150,000, so I never have bothered. Boy, was I stupid!!! Our local one has 200K people to a small store, and you can never even park. This one had about 10 people in it today. They had 2 aisles of girl's sandals at 75% off, I snagged 4 pairs for $10 for next year. We have a Step 2 also, and it's awesome. It's so durable, cute, and has so much built in storage. I got ours at Walmart before Christmas on a 'SPECIAL BUY'. I'm not sure how, as the other stores didn't have them on sale, and this was the large one, but at a very small store. I paid $79, and it was regular price $199

At ours last night, they had all of the Garanimals and Kid Connection infant-toddler boys separates for $1 each. The girls were still 2.50. They had tons and tons of them, I couldn't believe it. I got my nephew 6 mix and match outfits for $12.

last year's sale was a pricing error that they honored, even subbing items for those that sold out.

I am at least an hour away from the Target we are talking about. The next closest one is pretty good, but 1.5 hours in the opposite direction. There is one every 2-3 hours here. They are supposed to be putting one in Lebanon (15 minutes), but that rumor has been here for years. A good friend of ours sold the land to Target about 8 years ago, but they have yet to decide to build.

Summer stuff 30% Girl's shoes 15% I did get me 2 pairs of shorts (4th) for 2.50 each, DD the swimsuit I've been eyeing all summer for 4.98 (50%) and 2 t's for DD for 1.98 each (50%) Almost the whole wall of boys jeans was 50% off, but they were sold out of 8-10, so that did me no good. They had tons of the other sizes. I hate my target!!

Is the baseball/softball clearance widespread? Ours wasn't marked down at all as of last Friday, and DH must have gotten the Target bug, because he was scanning every single bat and found only one ringing up at 30%.

I would just browse through the threads until you find your niche. I recommend the grocery coupons and the Perimeter Perusing at Target threads, they are full of interesting things. There is also a lounge after you get a few posts under your belt. GD is awesome, full of great people. The wait for the great deals is the hardest part!

Which Target did you hit? We were there Friday night, and paid full price for baseball equip. I didn't get to look at the kid's clearance, DH was on a restock the sporting goods mission.

Hobby Lobby is running their sale this week. 50% off on all papers, embellishments, and stickers.

we actually drove by there tonight, and I had a feeling I should go in, but the kids were cranky. It's about an hour away, dang it!

I love it when hobby lobby runs the 50% off all stickers and paper sale. Makes great prices. Joann's runs good sale prices on stacks of paper, or the coupon works great for those. I have also found that Walmart has a new line of inexpensive things. I like their new chipboard letters. They are about 1/4th the price of other places.

www.smalltoys.com is much cheaper, but I'm not sure if it carries what you're looking for. It has tons of novelties and party favors.

I would love the MP4, but they don't have any in my area. Those were free with a purchase around Christmas, and they ran out then.

They take a picture for the guest passes? With our passes to Silver Dollar City, you get 1 guest pass with each season ticket. With these, you get 6. I didn't know if you had to visit 6 times in order to use them all, or if you could take more than one guest at a time.
