We have held off on cutting the cord because of live sports, but our local sports station just became available on PlayStation Vue, so now I think we have everything we need available without Comcast. I've read that the Roku boxes don't have as good of an interface as the Fire box, so I think we're best off going with that. We'll probably run the two concurrently for a little while before we go through with it, but we're really excited. Did you get a Slim package or a regular one? Trying to decide if streaming is enough or if we want live tv. We rely so much on the dvr now so it's probably ok, but seems scary to lose live TV.

We weren't thinking about this last week so I didn't even know I needed it. But if I can save some $$$, that will be huge!

We have to take my older one out to pick out something for his little brother. Seems like it's going to be a struggle since every time I mention getting presents for other people, he tells me that Santa is bringing him a gas station. (Which Santa purchased with Kohl's cash last month, actually...)

I have had so much luck with Target this year!

I didn't buy a ton from Kohl's this year, so I only got $15. I'll probably just buy clothes for my sons. I usually do a lot more shopping at Kohl's on Black Friday but I had much more luck with Target this year for some reason.

Kohl's has really cracked down on using Kohl's cash after the expiration date. I wouldn't chance it. If you're really having a hard time spending it, you can always buy baby clothes or new winter boots to donate. That's what I always do when there's nothing I want or need.

My husband is looking for a Pixel phone and the new Google Home for Christmas. I saw that Best Buy had the Google Home in their Black Friday ad, but it's the same price as usual. Do you think that the Google Store will have any Black Friday deals. The Pixel is a nice to have thing, but I know he'll really like the Google Home if I can get a deal on it!

My opinion is that if your sale was going to be cancelled, it would happen overnight and you would find out the next day. If you order the day it goes live, you would know before Black Friday. I would definitely start checking Kohls.com on Sunday and buying the second you see the price drop.

My husband had his eye on the Pixel phone. It doesn't say in the ad that it's for new customers only, unless I missed it. I bet they get into a lot of hassle if that's the case.
