Now they've taken that link off of the Advertised Value page along with the 2 new circulars. I just want to know what they are going to have! I am sick of speculating!
-
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/catalog.gsp?cat=546831 That's the page that the "View the secret items today" takes me too.
-
The link is on the advertised value page above the circulars. It says: View Our Current Online Circulars Tired of those stacks of papers cluttering up your breakfast table? Now you can look through your local Wal-Mart Circular online, flag items to buy at your local store or buy them online at Walmart.com. All with the speed and convenience of your computer. View the secret items today (this is a link, but it takes me back to the pink ad box page)

I just got this...I followed the links, put in my zip code, etc and it just keeps taking me back to the same page. I am not getting my sneak peek! They do have 2 more fliers up for some more regular specials though. I don't see anything spectacular in those that would be the secret items. They got me all excited, but they aren't showing me anything!

I had this on my list for DS. He is 5. But I just don't like how small the screen is. Our Walmart doesn't have one out on display, but Toys R Us does. They had several different similar items, and I could test them all out. I still haven't decided what to do about it though.

The stuff they don't have in stock (says arriving 2 to 6 weeks) isn't on sale on the site. I looked at the Vsmile cartridges, and they are all $15.00 now except the Cars one says 19.xx which is the one we want. But that's because they say they don't have it to ship now.

What to get my 1 year old son (price limit $65)
Sunshyne replied to droolbug2's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Does he need a ride on toy? We're getting the little one the Thomas one. He's also getting a Bounce and Spin Zebra...that thing just looks so fun! The other suggestion would be one of the 3 in 1 trikes. Fisher Price has a nice one that is a rocker, than a push toy and then a regular tricycle. It's good because it can be used for a while. -
Holiday party door prizes?
Sunshyne replied to blackhawk_996's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
My husband's company always does gift cards/certificates. They did Target, Best Buy, a local department store that got bought by Macy's and the local mall. The big prize is a $500 one, then 2-3 $150-$250 ones. I actually won one last year...$20 to Best Buy. I wanted anything but that one because is BB is 45 minutes away from where we live! But very close to where he works. I wish they would have actual prizes so you could enjoy something right away! -
I don't know how many you are planning on buying, but Walmart has a 20 pack of Hot Wheels in their ad for $10.
-
The sales ad is on their site now. At least a few of the items are available online at the sale price now.
-
I think you have 90 days to return it. That's our store's posted policy.

The Cars one is at Kmart and will be on sale either Wednesday or Thursday...haven't figured that out yet. I am getting it for DS.

I've been doing them all on Christmas Eve for the last few years because I really never have kid-free time to wrap except late at night after everything else is done. I also assemble everything that night because my husband never looks at the directions and he usually goes to bed long before I am done. Also, I put batteries in everything before I wrap it and cut off those annoying plastic ties they use to attach toys to the box. Every Christmas morning around 2am, I end up at Walgreen's to buy some type of batteries that I forgot, too. I also pick up candy for the stocking there, so it's my little tradition too. The first year we moved to PA, we did not have a Walgreen's yet, and I had to buy batteries at the Exxon! And, yes, I make a list of batteries needed, but I always forget one kind, it seems. This year, I am going to wrap in the mornings while my son is at Kindergarten. My younger son can play in another room behind the gates...not like he'd catch on anyway at 16 months. I was up until 4am last year...my oldest ds woke up at 6 to open gifts. Oh, and I sleep on the couch so that in case he forgets to come to our room and wake us, I will hear him when he sees that Santa has been there. Then, the lack of sleep is all worthwhile. lol

I know our Kmart is open Thursday, but this ad came up for my local store...crap...I can't get there when they open tomorrow. I have to put my son on the bus! Although that 50% off Holiday Decor means I am going to rebuy everything I just bought Sunday and return it later with that old receipt...it was only 33% off then. I called the store and she had no idea if they are having a special sale tomorrow, but she was positive that they are open Thursday.

CVS just emailed a coupon good for $5 off any purchase of $30 or more. Good only Friday and Saturday. It's also good online.
-
LOL He actually bought me a wall clock one year for Christmas and wrapped it up. I was not happy! I'd love a weekend trip...but I can't remember the last time he was even off on a Saturday. I think once in March. He was talking about getting a fish tank...but I know I'd be the one stuck with cleaning the tank!

I am so scared of him finding out at school this year. Someone told me the other day when they were in first grade, their teacher told them Santa wasn't real! My son normally won't wear pajamas, and I don't pictures of him on Xmas morning in his underwear! That's why we started the pajamas mailed by Santa when he was 3. He will wear those for sure because he wants to make Santa happy!

Anyone get Butterscotch pony yet?
Sunshyne replied to angel-too's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I saw this at Target, and my son was completely uninterested, but all the little girls were enthralled with it! I went back a week later and it was not working. The neck had broken...they've taken it off display now. -

That's awesome! I don't get to TRU often because it way on the other side of town. I now have $15 in gift cards from promotions though, and I plan to use them soon on something that is just $1 more there than at Wal*Mart.
-
Thanks readerof3...I plan on going there anyway for the Little Touch leap pad they have for $19.99. I will look for the McQueen. I have a $2 off certain Cars movie toy coupon I got from a box of Crunch N Munch...which my son tore into because he thought there was a Cars toy in it because of all the pictures on the box!

The tide was on sale last year for the same price, I think. And the peanuts. I thought they were out of the tide, so I got in line with my DVD's and peanuts. A lady in front of me in line had brought along her teenage son, and he was walking around picking up more stuff for her as she waited in line. They put out more Tide, and he called her on her cell, and she got him to get me 2 also. There was a limit of 2 on the Tide and Peanuts, so I don't know that Walmart would let you get more than that for the price.

The Tanger and Rockvale outlets in Lancaster, PA are opening at midnight too.

I figure even if there is nothing in there on sale that I want, I can pick up Xmas cards cheap, shampoo/body wash or maybe just some hot wheels for stocking stuffers. cr8on~ what good luck!
