Ugh...I wonder if the delay between Google and TRU is why I've had something cancelled twice now as out of stock. I don't know if they charged the card back though...I used my dh's credit card and I don't know how to look up the account online.

Last time, it was about a week to 10 days after they charged my card. They are the wooden ones. I hope it gets here by Christmas, but no biggie if it doesn't. I've already gotten him a little stash for presents.

LOL I was in the East York one around 9...I only bought some cleaning supplies there though! I am just striking out trying to find these last 2 toys I need to get. Tonight, my friend and I are going to hit the stores on the west side.

LOL I just have to say that I was in this Target around 7pm...be assured they were all gone by then! I would've noticed them as I looked down every toy aisle twice trying to find some other toys that are MIA. I can't believe I walked out of Target without buying anything!

Pizza Hut and Chuck E Cheese let groups do fundraisers around here. They get a night and then get a cut of the sales from that night. Maybe if she was chosen for a particular reason (sports, music, business, etc), you could get a local company in that field to help sponsor her.

Did you try to log into your account on their site and see your previous orders? I've never ordered from them, so I don't know how their site works, but I'd look into that. Maybe there will be something you can print, or maybe with the order number, they can look it up at the store.

I have the same charge today on my bank account, and IIRC, that is who charged me last time. I thought I had to mail in the receipt though, but I haven't yet this time. I guess I don't have to worry about it now.

I haven't used lay-a-way in over 5 years. (Last one was stuff I put on for my oldest son before he was born. He was born 3 weeks early, so it was great that dh could just go get the stuff and it was all there.) But...if Target had LAW, I might be tempted to use it!

You can use google checkout and get $10 off a $30 purchase with Toys R Us. About $6.00 to ship. Have you checked the B&M stores or do you have to have it shipped? Target sells it for $42.99 and I think Walmart has it for $39.xx. I saw TRU and eToys both want $49.99 for it. I got one sent last month from Amazon for $37.99 shipped but they are OOS now.

We got the tree yesterday, so we need to decorate that. Still working on the inside decor. Got all the outside lights up except I need an adapter plug to get the train plugged in. I am going for that this morning. I bought the Christmas cards and they are addressed. Just waiting on the pictures which will be in Thursday night. I am going to start wrapping tonight! I still have some shopping to do, but I will do that this coming weekend and hopefully be done in a few days. Oh, and we have not seen Santa yet. We will probably go Thursday.

So beautiful! All of them! That grinch wreath is awesome! My dh went to get our tree today,and he let ds (5) pick it out. It isn't even 5 feet tall! But it is very wide. I just don't like it at all, but I am watching what I say so as not to hurt ds' feelings. Sigh..It doesn't even come up to the top of the window it is sitting in front of.

I've bought 75% of the boys' stuff. Nothing for dh yet. He finally said he wants a weight bench; before that I had no idea what to get him. Haven't tackled my nephews, ds' teacher, aide and bus driver either. I think that's everyone I'm buying for this year. I am stuck until Friday on spending money. It stinks to only get paid once a month, and I won't go into the savings for Christmas. We're getting the tree tomorrow. About half the outside lights are up. I have decorations for inside all over the kitchen as I just found most of them today while cleaning out the garage. The fireplace is done though, as is the banister. The cards aren't sent out or even bought yet. The pictures don't come back until this Thursday. I want to get the cards tomorrow and address them so they are ready to go Friday morning. Time needs to slow down a little for me! Dh works 65+ hours a week, so he isn't a big help. I got a lot done on Thursday when he was off, and hopefully I can finish up the rest of the decorating tomorrow! Then, I can begin to think about wrapping. oh, and 200 presents!!! OMG Good luck getting them all wrapped.

Can someone who has a Scooba tell me if it really works well? Does it get in the corners? When it runs out of solution, does it stop to let me know? I never knew this existed until I saw it on woot yesterday. I don't need a Roomba...but the Scooba looks awesome if it works. I am so tired of scrubbing our kitchen floor; it takes forever to do the whole room. The tile is white, and it just doesn't stay clean. I am pretty sure dh would go for this since he is always complaining about the floors.

My IL's are a 6 hours drive away. We've seen them twice in 5 years. My DH doesn't really talk to them often as they shunned him because he is the one that moved away from their little town. His aunt raised him most of his life anyway. His parents are divorced. I sent announcements out when we had the baby, and then Christmas cards last year. The Christmas card to his dad came back to me....he had moved the previous December so it would not forward anymore. We had no idea that he had sold his house and moved, and he was the one that was the most civil toward me. When we got there, he informed DH through my BIL that he did not wish to speak or see us. No explanation of why, and he was always the 'nice' one. His mom and sister are now the 'nice' ones. But they annoy the crap out of me as I've been sending pictures of the boys to them throughout the year and always send Christmas cards, and they never say a word about them. I'm the one that got them all talking last year as I sent DH's business cards (along with his toll-free work number) in the cards and didn't tell him. But, it used to always get blamed on me that DH didn't call them or come visit! I don't control what he does!!! Family dynamics are just frustrating. My parents are still together; and I am an only child. They live 3 hours away, and we see each other about every 6 weeks.

My dh is never off enough time for us to go to see his family, and my mom does not celebrate Christmas. I grew up without it too...probably why I go so overboard now...but anyway.. it's just me, dh and the boys. On Christmas, we either have turkey or lasagna. Since this year we had turkey on Thanksgiving, we will have lasagna (or some other Italian thing, dh gets to choose) on Christmas. Although, I think since dh will be off on Christmas eve, I will make it that day instead. Then, on Christmas, I think I'll take a nap in the afternoon since I am always so tired from getting everything ready the night before. lol Probably make something easy like tacos or cheeseburgers. I really *hate to cook.

My favorite is the Carol of the Bells. A favorite around here is 'Up on the Housetop' because of the line "click, click, click, down through the chimney with good St. Nick" because that's my oldest ds' name, and he loves hearing his name in a song. It's my ringtone on my phone now and he sings along everytime my phone rings.

That's funny, Brynn! One time when my nephews were staying with us for Christmas, the remote control was missing to his r/c car. I didn't check it until that night when I was wrapping it. So, I left a letter from 'Santa' saying that he had an accident with the sleigh and had to swerve to miss a plane and the remote control fell out and into the ocean. lol The letter also said that I would fix it...but I like blaming it on the reindeer!

I just checked, and it actually came back! Some of the out of stock items are gone for good though, but that's ok. I am glad I had posted about the wrestlers on here because most of them are gone. I'm going to print what's left out though, right now!
