  1. I found 4 of the $5 ones at one store. You could see someone had squeezed most of them, but none were ripped. The ones I found were where the gift card was not in the expected place. I just kept peeking through the holes in the package until I found some. They were all in the 3pk of 40watt ones. The other Target, every single package had been opened, gift cards were missing, etc. I found one $5 card there in a pack of the floodlights...it was again on the bottom of the box instead of in between the bulbs.
  2. I bought a bunch of 8 pk 40 watt Reveal ones. They are normally $4.50, so at 50% off they'd be $2.25. Not sure about the other sizes! I was too excited about finding the 65 watt (non-Reveal) floodlights on clearance in the b1g1f packs. We use a ton of those in this house, and normally they are at least $3.00 each.
  3. Aha! I just checked the light bulbs I bought last week, and they all had $1.00 coupons in them. I wonder if it'd be worth it to go back and look for gift cards! I am already stocked up on lightbulbs for at least a year now!
  4. I didn't find anything great today. I'm hoping something new gets marked down soon! I had my first problem with customer service. I wanted to return something to my husband's Target card, and I didn't have the card. But I did have the statement with the account number clearly on it. The customer service woman said she couldn't do a return without a receipt and handed me back the bag with the item in it and called up the next customer. I said, "Excuse me. But, I thought you had a receipt look up." Then, she finally agreed to "try" when I asked for her supervisor, but she told me that she couldn't promise me it would work! Of course it did. I think she just didn't want to take the extra minute to do it. I keep all my receipts...my husband is a different story, though.
  5. I finally got my fireplace screen for $9.98, 75% off. I bought it and a few other things from the craft/stationary 75% off that I found at different places around the store. The cashier gave me my total ($16.xx) and actually commented that I found some really good deals. He said there was no way he was expecting the total to only be $16. I was pleased with myself that I impressed the Target cashier. LOL
  6. Did you sign up at their website? http://welcomeaddition.com/productinfo.aspx I used to get 2-$5 checks from them every few weeks IIRC. We went with another brand, but I always gave them to my friend so they were put to good use. She said it was the cheapest at Sam's Club too.
  7. I got mine fairly cheap at Walmart last year. I didn't even pick the cheapest frames and they were around $55. America's Best is more affordable though...we just don't have one that close anymore. I got my nephew 2 pairs there for around $40 a few years ago. They might have been running a special. though at that price..I don't remember. I recommend scratch coating for the kids though. My nephew is so hard on his glasses, and it did make a difference. Our Walmart takes forever to get contacts in, but my glasses were ready in 4 days.
  8. I saw something new today. 30% off some fabric sorting hampers and other organizers that are either in the laundry 'furniture' or nearby it. Those fireplace screens are still hanging tough at 50% of for the 3rd week (maybe 4th) in a row. I didn't see anything else new and nothing seems to be going down much more lately.
  9. My husband always wants Diet Coke with Lime. I brought him home 2 packs of regular diet coke earlier this week, and he got an attitude about it. He used to drink regular diet coke all the time. I told him that was all Target had and it was on a great sale. Tuesday when I went, I found tons of Diet Coke with Lime! I was excited because I never see it there. I bought 3, but had only brought 2 coupons. Oh well, at least I won't have to hear him complaining about it anymore!!! Then, I thought I grabbed Cherry Coke Zero for me, but it was just regular Coke Zero. Blah.
  10. This week, they are 3 for $8 here, making them $2.66, and then $1.66 with the coupon. I looked at the online sales flyer the other day when it was mentioned they were on sale, and it did not give a specific price. It said something like "Check out our sale prices on Coca Cola products." The flyer in the paper had the actual price. I think it has to do with the local distributor. My son still calls it "Target Dog" sometimes from those commercials they ran 2 or 3 years ago where they would sing that. My dh thought it would be funny to teach him to tell me everytime I say we are going to Target for ds to say he wants to go to Kmart. That went on for a very long time.
  11. My 5 year old complains about going to Target too. He says I take too long in there. And every time we go, I have to stop in the middle of the store and take him back up front to the bathroom! So, last week, I told him from now on he has to go when we get there whether he has to go or not! lol We went yesterday, and the first thing he said was, "Don't forget. I have to pee before we can shop at Target." lol I try to only take him once a week so I don't wear him out. Our grocery store (Giant) has the free daycare now...I think Target should hop on board. I could go ALL THE TIME then! hee hee I hope you are able to get there while she's off school.
  12. Ours is a peachy color with a seal on the front. Dh swears it's pink, but I think it's orange. lol It sounds like the same one. It was on the back side of the shirt display and was the only one. Thanks for letting me know your son likes it! I'm hoping to get little ds started on the potty this summer. He'll be 2 in August.
  13. I found some CG lipstick for $1.2x. Deoderant for 50% off for dh. I didn't get a whole lot, and I went to both stores in town yesterday. Some of the stationary went down to 50% off while other stuff was still 30%. I scanned to double check. I will be watching the boys short sleeved shirts that are on the display where they are folded. These were 30% off yesterday, so hopefully they will be down to 50% in the next 2 weeks. Little ds needs a few more Spring/Summer shirts. I found a little ergonomic potty chair, 30% off for $4.88. I decided to forgo one of the bigger potties for him as they are such a pain to clean. This one I could just rinse off in the utility sink since it's all one piece.
  14. That sports decor has been going fast, at least around here. I just paid the $2.50 each for the things I wanted for ds's room. I figure I can always rebuy and return with the old receipt if something is left when it does clearance out. They have the cutest 4 pack of Thomas take a long trains in the Easter stuff for $14.99. I really hope they are still around when Easter is over.
  15. I really want one of those fireplace screens. They have been 50% off for over 2 weeks now! I don't want to pay $19.xx, I want to pay $9.xx lol I'm going to drive myself crazy by keep checking on it. I got some gift bags, tissue paper, ribbons, stationary and the Tide 100oz that is double strength for $6.xx. I also used an expired coke coupon, and the cashier put it through. Yay! They were on sale for $2.66, so it was $1.66. I'll go back with more coupons later in the week as I wait for the fireplace screen to go down more.
  16. I've always had my address and phone number inside my coupon binder. I had a zip-up one, so I figured if someone found it, they'd be tempted to look inside. Luckily, I never lost it. I use something smaller now, and I still have information in there. I'd hate to lose them all. I feel for you, deal grabber! I hope it turns up!
  17. I found a tent with an attached tunnel for 85% off today. Originally $39.99, now $5.xx. I've never seen an 85% off sticker before. I was excited...especially because it can be used outdoors too. We only have a play tent for in the house. My oldest ds already asked if he could camp out tonight. HA HA, it's like 30 degrees out there! I haven't seen any food clearance in awhile. I usually pick up snacks for the kids. I always forget to print out coupons since most places here won't take any. I know Target takes their own though. I found 2 DYR shelves 75% off. One white for $3.xx and one wood and longer than the other one for $4.xx. The white one has a scratch on it, but we plan to paint in anyway. And a red bedskirt (finally) for my oldest ds' bed for $4.xx. I had a good day there.
  18. I found 4 of the apple 69¢ juices tonight. And I got the DYR storage cubby for $12.48, 75% off. http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=1-1/qid=1172549295/ref=sr_1_1/601-4995011-3954550?ie=UTF8&asin=B000FDKTNA It matches little ds' dresser perfectly! I am so glad I decided to stop by the other one in town. I hadn't been there in a while Nothing else caught my eye, but I was in there right before they closed. GB was all gone. They didn't have the clearanced blue bedskirt at all...the other Target only had Full-sized last week. I really need that in a twin! I did get a queen one for our bed last week 75% off, $6.xx.
  19. I didn't know that! I just set it up. Thanks a bunch!
  20. We have had Vonage since we moved in October. I love it. I love that I can see who we called too just by logging in to their site. Sometimes I forget if I called somewhere or not. lol The price can't be beat. We haven't had to call 911 yet. I know they have our right address though as they asked me to verify it at least 5 times. My only problem occurs when the power goes out or when Comcast does (we have our modem through them). But we have cell phones, so it's not a huge issue. I went to a friend's to log in to my account and call forward all incoming calls to my cell. It was very easy to do. Only once have I had bad reception. I called my dad and he said he couldn't hear me. At the same time I was uploading some huge picture files to my computer. I paused the upload, and immediately he could hear me.
  21. The only coupons I've seen is when you buy tickets through ticketweb, sometimes they give you a code for your next purchase. We went last year in Strasburg, PA and in Cumberland, MD. We wouldn't have went twice, but my mom bought the second tickets because she wanted to see what it was all about. My oldest son loves Thomas. I agree that the train ride is a bit overrated at just 22 minutes. I mean you can't really tell Thomas is pulling you while you are on it. They played Thomas music, but we couldn't hear it because it was loud on there! The boys got "Junior Engineer" certificates in Cumberland. The activities going on were much more fun, but some of them you can only do with a ticket stub for the train. I doubt we will go this year, but we may return to Strasburg to ride their regular train which is a longer ride, less expensive and less noisy. This year is the start of Thomas and Friends live on stage. We are debating going to the Penn State York show, but I hear it's going to be $19-$29. http://www.thomasandfriends.com/usa/parents/thomaslive.html
  22. I found the solar lights 8-pack for $12.48. It was only marked at $34.XX, but I remembered the posts about them and scanned them. I am so excited about them!!! They still had a lot left...that was at the Timonium, MD store. Our local store has them redesigned for $49.99, and now you only get 6 in the pack.
  23. I got my 17 month old this http://cgi.ebay.com/Little-Tikes-CUBE-SLIDE-Playground-Activity-Climber-Gym_W0QQitemZ270077078745QQihZ017QQcmdZViewItem The prices on Ebay are crazy for it, I think! I actually got it off of freecycle for just a 30 mile round trip. He isn't real into it, but it is his size. We have to put him on the slide right now (We set it up in the basement until spring) We had playgroup here the other day, and all of the little ones were in love with ds' Bounce and Spin Zebra. I don't think you would want to leave it outside all the time because it does use batteries to light up. I just couldn't believe how much all of the ones ages 1 and 2 loved it! http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/602-7046777-7309401?asin=B000EULX9I&AFID=Froogle&LNM=B000EULX9I|Baby_Gymtastics_Bounce__Spin_Zebra&nAID=14110944&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001
