Do u have younger kids and does she still believe in Santa? If yes and no, maybe have her help play Santa for all but what she gets? I let my dd do that last yr and she loved helping. But we usually do dinner at my aunts. Home by 6pm when A Christmas story comes on. I let the kids open 1 present (pjs) take some pics. Watch tv, eat cookies. Then they head to bed. Driving around looking at lights is a great idea but DS gets carsick so we can't do stuff like that anymore

We went with a new camera and laptop (since hers is about it break). She's only 10.5 so we were able to find a few "toys" she will play with (pet shop). I imagine next yr there will be no toy request at all. A wallet with gift cards to various places- theater, restaurant, etc. An iPod with iTunes. Or an updated phone? Cologne. Cash is always good for them but I hate giving cash as a Christmas present.

Some of you guys have witnessed some crazy things on BF. I live in boring, nowhere USA. My most memorable BF was back when they still opened at 5am (wmart) and one of my old HS teachers was in line ahead of me. I had to be careful not to trample him haha Once tho, on the day after Christmas I went to target. It was my first time doing any of this stuff And I yelled at hubby to grab a cart and meet me in Christmas. I ran into my sister (who doesn't live here and I had no idea she was coming. Anyways, here comes hubby with a cart and a huge Winnie the Pooh plastic decoration, that I still have, and some old woman rammed him! I laughed so hard I pee'd my pants. It's was a disaster and the most fun I've ever had discount shopping hahaha I should add, I didn't like flood the place out lol.

Yes. We found a site where these guys did a side by side view of the hero3 and hero3+ and it was beyond worth it to go with the +.

I generally pick through Walgreens and Walmart as my main 2 stops since they are in my town. After that I go with where the best deals are. Then I hit online afterwards.

Friday opening. I'm shocked but its good to see there are still some holdouts!

I think there will be. But (!!) since I'm occasionally wrong, we put the hero+ in layaway for our daughter. If we get it cheaper, yay, if we don't, we have it regardless.

Thankfully my target is like 15 min away. It won't be my first stop but I will get there at some point. I am lucky that we got a Walgreens a few years ago in my town so I have them and walmart to go to first.

I haven't used it like I should but it did catch like 3.00. Better than nothing. I need to start doing it again tho.
