Anyone heard anything about Toys R Us??? A lot of our sons list of wants we will be getting there.

I called our Walmart a few days ago and they told me it wouldn't start until Sept but she seemed kinda older and unsure herself so I'm hoping she's wrong

I'm here but I'm having a heck of a time because my computer keeps popping up a warning ever time I come here saying this sites been reported. I kept trying to message on fb but nobody responded so I finally just ignored the warning. Fingers crossed all is well here LOL

YAY!!! I'll be there ready to get it in! I'm going to do a small one at TRU since I hate TRU layway rules (remember to pay when I hardly owe a balance, on purpose, is a PITA). And I've already gotten the kids around a dozen presents each. I gotta slow down or I wont have any reason to shop on BF yeah right!

I agree about expanding the layaway! We were lucky last year (and since I know Walmart trolls this forum I wont say why), but its a big ole pain to get up there and hear "oh its not considered a toy or an electronic, etc" I love putting stuff in layaway and just going and picking it up after we get the tree up and can warp and put everything under it.

So far no word on when layaway for the holiday season will start but last year Walmart started in September. We love layaway because it hides our presents for us lol. I'm hoping it'll start soon..

I have had a ton of luck! I've bought a dozen Christmas presents. Got a few more things I'm waiting to go live. The only problem I had was one of the turtle beach headsets not wanting to load in my cart. Other than that, no problems at all but I'm not shopping for a new tv or anything so maybe that's why?

Our Walmart had the games and movies in the kids clothing section and they weren't allowing carts in either. That sucks that someone swiped your Lego tower. People are so rude :/

Khols I ended up just getting Luke the Daniel Tiger trolley set. Spent like 22.00 with shipping. Online, easy experience Walgreens- pull ups (the 50 something count), 30.00 iTunes, 2 tins of royal danisk cookies, 3 rolls of wrapping paper, a newspaper, 2 bottles of hand sanitizer, and coffee. It was 30.00 and some change and I got a 10.00 gc. (Used 35.00 points) 1st in store. Not bad at all Walmart- RCA tablet (MIL is sick so I picked it up for her), 2 girls hoodies, 2 girls jeans, slippers for Luke, 2 3 month Xbox live cards, coffee pot, pair of girls shoes, picture frame, wipes (Luke was almost put lol), dish soap (was out), destiny for the Xbox one (not on sale). Spent 190.00. Absolute craziness! As always. 4 hours in store. 1 hour waiting to check out!! Justice- 2 pairs of pjs and earmuffs. It was like 50 maybe? Online, easy Tomorrow I'm shopping more online.

Crap crap crap. My last straw was getting the layaway out the day before and going back for a price adjustment. I called and its a no go also. Now I am stuck in the middle of the madness. :/

Damn I gotta rethink this then. I'm almost certain the gopro will be on sale. I was hoping to not have to be one of the crazy people fighting for it but I guess I'll be in the middle of it all.

But will the savings catcher catch it if you get it out of layaway a day or two before and scan the receipt on thanksgiving??

Holy Crap!!! That is crazy. Best buy ad isn't even out yet lol. We are looking at lows in the teens next week, along with a rain/snow mixture next weekend. I couldn't do that.
