(and last year my mom started off in a line for a TV to find out it was the line for the people that had already gotten the ticket so she had to move to another line!)

Its changed now that Black Friday is Brown Thursday (or whatever they are calling it). Before we would have dinner on T'giving, pour through the ads and finalize our plans (my mom and I that is). Then we would talk a million more times on the phone before we went to bed to be sure our alarms were set and we had our plans down. We would get up at 2am and I'd pick her up blasting Christmas music and we would go to Walmart for their 5am opening. We would stand outside if it wasn't horrible cold or she would wait in the car and we would keep taking turns standing if it was, especially if we were outside of Target since the lines were always so long). Then we would head to all the places we wanted to go and head home. After dh and I would go back out and shop some more. Now we eat quickly and run to Walmart. Then hit the other stores we wanna go to.

Physically on BF how do I save? I don't. I spend more cause I buy more (including stuff I probably wouldn't have normally bought. Yep, I'm that person ) Throughout the year, Walmart savings catcher, walgreens points, target cartwheel, coupons, etc..

My very first gottadeal shirt finally bit the big one last year. I searched out old pics of shirts but they are all gone I have a navy blue (that says why pay retail under gottadeal). I have a gray one that has the "if you can read this I probably got your doorbuster" on it. Pink (yay for the year we finally got pink!!) one. And I've already bought a black hoodie, gray LS top and a blue tshirt (heck I think LOL) this year. So I'll be up to 6 gottadeal shirts once I get all those in. How many tops do you guys have? Are they all from different years? ETA: And I only won 1 top. Madison was probably 4 maybe? I went to Walmart and got a pic of a tree with a gottadeal$ sign, something else with the sign, and a Walmart worker holding the sign. I was first to come back and post all 3 pics and won. lol Edit again. I found it. 2008. I ran to Walmart with a $ ornament I made that had gottadeal.com written on it. And I got an employee to hold a sign that said I love gottadeal.com just in case the other one had already been completed! haha

I got a white screen and at the very top it said It works! LOL Now I'm back on tho

Walmart, Walgreens, Dollar Store, Target, Khols (online), Amazon. Really I'll shop anywhere except TRU which has horrible checkout, Walmart and Walgreens are my MUST stops.

Going Friday to TRU to pick up quite a bit for Luke and then Walmart where we will put in the biggest amt for both in layaway. I've already filled 2 tubs, the stuff from TRU will fill another 1-2 tubs, and I'll be out of hiding spots. Love the layaway!!

Just ordered my tshirt (and I'm totally ok with winning a 2nd one ) With teespring, you order but it wont charge until its hit the amt. needed to print right? I cant remember how they charged last year.

Best, probably my first year going. I cant tell you what year it was or what we go but we hit the most stores we've ever gone to. Left at like 2 in the morning, freezing cold (took turns getting warm and standing in line since it was just my mom and I), Christmas music blaring on the radio in the pitch black of night on still full bellies from the day before. My worst, 2009 maybe? (or 2008 or 2010 lol). I was just finishing up cooking Thanksgiving dinner and I got the stomach bug. I was too dehydrated to go out the next morning but we did hit Walmart that late afternoon when I was finally feeling better.

I'll use a combo this year. I'm hot on the trail of a few different electronics which may require bringing in backup and they'll end up with my cards. For anything I get, I'll use cash/debit card.

Since first is out I'm gonna predict Harbor Freight will come out with the next ad on 10/12

I started in July. Got a bunch of stuff off of QVC during the Christmas in July sales and off of Amazon on their prime day. Plus picking up stuff here and there when I find good deals.
