Anyone else watch the big Christmas kick off on QVC? Its tradition for me to watch every year. :) I've been watching/ordering since before I was even pregnant w/ Madison. I LOVE that they are now doing it earlier on the 24th now. So who all is ready for the big 5 months til Christmas event?

I voted for around the same. I always say I'm not going to go crazy and I always end up spending around 1000 on Madison (dd) and then between dh and I we spend another 500-1000. Then nieces and nephews (total of 12) plus my parents, inlaws. Total all in all we spend around 2500 or so on Christmas. (eek! LOL)

My cousin works for Stevens Floral Gifts and Framing and she has been putting up Christmas tress all week. I actually just was telling dh last weekend that we need to start picking some stuff up. Planning on getting Madison the new DSi and a cheap MP3 player since she wont leave mine alone (the mp3) so those are 2 of the first things we'll be picking up... Well unless anyone thinks there will be any good DSi bundles on BF. ;)

Listen, as far as I am concerned BF forums could have opened back up the day after Christmas. (well ok they were still open then bwahahahaha) I had a gottadeal shirt and a plan last year... and then on Monday dh brought home the stomach bug. Oh yeah and I got sick on Thanksgiving so I spend BF on the couch trying to recover from a pretty nasty case of dehydration. THis year I am locking myself in a closet for the whole week of T'giving. LOL I am READY!!!!

Huge thanks to Brad and all the mods on GD!! Even though I missed BF this year (dang flu) I enjoyed preparing for it! lol

Well I finally felt well enough to venture out for a shot period this afternoon. Headed to our local (small) Wal Mart and they had tons of a lot of stuff still left (mp3, SD I think it was, hummers, my size barbie, coats, dvds, etc etc) Dh picked up a few of the 2.00 movies and I picked up 2 of the VIP pet shop pets. We werent there long before I was wore out so we came home. Then about an hour or so ago we headed to game stop to see what used DS games they had. (b2g1 free) We picked up 2 DS games (used) and a used gamecube game. Also went ahead and bought the pink ds lite and Super Mario Bro for it. After that I was done so we came home and I got on Amazon and got another DS game for 9.99. We are nearing the end of our shopping (other than my amazon impluse buying lol)

My mom and I usually shop but she talked my dad into taking her around 7am cause she really wanted to pick up a flix stix (or flip kick or whatever its called) and she said it was still insane there. This was at our teeny tiny store that usually isnt to busy even on bf.

I totally missed it since my husband gave me his stomach flu. Didnt even get to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner since I was to sick to eat. I hope everyone that went out got what they wanted!!

Insane!! Nothing worthy of me missing a few days with my baby girl. I'll be up and at it around 3am on Friday and not a min sooner. lol

Wal Mart, Sears, Ace Hardware, then home. Probably after dh gets home we'll head back out, shop a little bit everywhere but thats about it.

WOO HOO!! I am so glad its up! I've been dying to talk about the ad and how I think wal mart has finally done good (lol) and I couldnt. I am so excited about some of the deals!! Now I have somewhere else to go besides Sears and Ace Hardware LOL

This is the best I got, SO I also did a sign with an associate :) FYI my daugther said very loudly "why are leaving the ornament" as we were walking out th door. I've also seen the pop tarts commercial. Also on ABC Family they are advertising their countdown to Christmas. It starts Nov 16th I think. (I just caught parts of it)

I dont think Sears PM's anymore. I found quite a few deals. I havent done Sears on BF the last 2 years but will be making a stop there this year for sure.

My mom and I go through all the ads after dinner on T'giving. We get up around 3am and head to wally world. Once we hit there and Target we hit McD's for breakfast (to go lol) while we head to Walgreens. After that we hit one more store then I drop her off, come home and eat t'giving leftovers and nap for an hour or two. Then I get up and if I'm hungry again (and I usually am) I eat leftovers again then dh, Madison, and I head out a second time. We usually dont get home til dinner or right after. Once we are home we put up the tree and decorate it. :)
