Yeah, I'm excited for BF year round but by July and I'm really ready. I blame it on QVC since they do their annual Christmas in July on the 24/25th. lol

Yeah, I'm starting to watch ebay now for games since they will go in her stocking anyways it doesnt matter if they are new in the box. I've found cooking mama (the first one) for pretty cheap.

If there is already a discussion on this please delete So I know we discussed the deals last year since money is tight for just about everyone but with the stimulus this year do you think the stores will make the deals even better this year? I did go through some of Ace's ad from last and this year and some of its a little lower, some a tad higher, generally the same prices though. Just curious what everyone thinks?

UGH I really have to start paying attention to ad/stores more. She wants the Catz game (which I dont think she'll be able to play) and some yoshi game, cooking mama (the first one), animal crossing, and the new Mario Bros game. She does want pink, I dont care what color I get as long as it isnt pink so we know whos is whos. We have already picked up the yoshi/princess case protector thingy. Just gotta find the big yoshi pen. (my daughter is a huge yoshi addict lol, thats even what she wants to be for halloween! hahaha) I think I'll go ahead and pick it up now and just hold on to the reciept in case there is a better deal come BF time. :)

Ok so this is my first year hitting the electronics hot and heavy for dd. She is dying for a DS, as am I, so I gotta pick up 2 this year. I'm trying to decide if the price will be that much better on BF and just how fast will those things go that morning? Its no biggie if I cant get it that day, I just want to be sure we get at least one for Madison before Christmas.

I will be in Marion, Herrin, and possibly Carbondale Illinois.

Ok so I get its only Sept 3rd and all but darn Ace Hardware for getting me all excited!! Its going to be f-o-r-e-v-e-r before we see another add. Who else peeks on here at least 2 (or 3) times a day, just in case another store has gone bonkers and "leaked" their add early?

We usually hit Wal Mart first then hit Target even though we know we'll be about 5000th people in line. After all the crap they've pulled along with Targets ad, we are going to be in line there at 4am and IF we feel like it, we'll hit wal mart later. (though its doubtful since we'll have other stops to make )

If camping out have more than one person with you if possible. Or if not, see if someone can come take your spot a few times so you can go to the bathroom, get a bite to eat, etc. I live where its cold usually on BF, however by the end of the first stop I am burning up. (then if you have wait time til the next store opens (ex. wal greens, sears, etc) I'm cold again. Take layers of clothes. That way you can strip off some of then easily. Handwarmers!!! lol

It was on my local news!!!!!! I was up at 6am cause dh has the flu now and I turned it on in time to see it!! Gottadeal wasnt mentioned (I dont think), there isnt a link up on the news site but if they put one up, I'll post it!

Oh yeah for my last post at the moment in this thread, I was having a hard time deciding where to go first this year. I want a new TV for dh and a laptop. I reallllllly didnt want to wait at BB but I guess if Wal Mart stands their ground I'll be out there with everyone else on THanksgiving waiting for BEST BUY to open!

You know what else!!! (can you tell that Wal Mart get my blood boiling?!) We shop there first, as a matter of fact last year we hit 2 (TWO) wal Marts but if they keep this up I will sit my butt outside Target waiting for them to open. Oh and I'm sending a link to the CNN story to my local news. There a supercenter 10 min. from here and a Wal Greens going in right across the street from our little wal mart. I'm not the only BF shopper in this town!

You know what... I held my tounge about Wal Mart, even on the thread asking about working there. Well wal mart can kiss my butt. Fine when the ad is leaked just email it to each and everyone of us and well FLOOD the dang internet with Wal Marts ad. Heck I'll even call each competition store and tell them personally whats on there. Get a grip wal mart. Its an ad! (and not a very good one lately anyways)

Hi guys. I ordered mine and it came last Wednesday. BE PREPARED (!) It comes in the box like you would get it in the store!! There are pics of the pony on the front and side of it. I'm thanking my lucky stars that dh was home and had Madison at my moms house. I had to bring it in stick it in the corner and cover it with black tarp. *ETA* I see now that someone posted that on page 1. oops for not looking first lol

Cant wait to find out if this is legit and see the rest of the ad! As always, you rock Brad. As for what time to get in line. We usually hit wally world first, our local one, in and out within 20 min. usually and get to Sears by 5:30. Last year I woke up late and missed the gift cards (which was ok since I didnt need to go there) but the previous years we were in line early enough to get the gc. You never know though, it really will come down to what they have and how many venture out that day. Around here 2-4am is waaaaaaaaay to early to be there. They line doesnt start forming until well after 4am (since most hit wal mart first).
