  1. The ad hasnt been posted yet this year. :) HTH!
  2. Hey Brad I was serious about that tshirt. You have no idea how crappy my birthday ended up being. (someone call out the pity party police!!) It started with a death in the family and ended with my father not even calling me (and it was HIS birthday also!!!) He just was to busy with his new family to care about me. The only thing that could possibly make me feel better is the Target ad and a tshirt. lol
  3. LOL Ok when I said I'd even take an ad from a store we dont have around here I was only kidding!! No Harbor Freights (or whatever that was) around here BUT at least the ads are finally starting to trickle out! Not to much longer guys!!!
  4. Ok Brad, today is my birthday. I'm turing a very YOUNG 32 and for my birthday I just want an ad.... or a tshirt. LOL
  5. I cant take it anymore!! I.NEED.AN.ADD! ANY add! Even for a store that isnt within 1000 miles of me, PLEASE people start leaking the ads!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Done and done! Great video!! (oh and just in case you love my comment so much you feel the pull of handing over one of those coveted t shirts I'm julz0420) lol
  7. Ahh just think of us on BF while you are cozy in your pjs drinking hot chocolate and listening to Christmas music... we'll all be freezing, trampled, and some of us bloody when we are done with our shopping. LOL
  8. On my getting Antsy thread you said you wont post an ad until Oct 15 so come back then. Well its the 15th, wheres the ad!!! Just kidding!! I know you'll post them when they come out, just wanted to mess with ya some.
  9. Amazon has a lot of them really cheap now. I think the black bear and a few others were only 7.00 or less.
  10. Its freezing out here My hands and feet are frozen Its worth the frostbite!! *edited to add an s to hand lol*

Probably money in one of those hard to get out game things cause they are 11 and 13 so pretty much outta the toy age The rest of my nieces/nephews I dont have to worry about til Jan. when my family celebrates so I havent even thought that far ahead yet. lol
  12. Here are my thoughts on improving BF: 1st off to all the retailers- Stop hiding your ads and stop threatening to sue if they are leaked early. That is a HUGE part of BF for us shoppers (you know the people that keep you in business!!!) It is important to get our hands on the ad early (more than 4 days!!) so that we can plan our attack on BF! 2nd- There should be an employee or two outside to help handle the people that think they can just cruise on in when your store opens even if they didnt camp out for days beforehand. I was at our Target last year and it was SO nice! They not only had some employees keeping people from getting around the rope but a police officer was also making sure that everything ran smoothly at opening time. This is SO nice to those that do wait out in the cold/rain/snow/etc for days/hours. 3rd- Its BF not hide n go seek. Please do not put kitchen ware with pet supplies or toys in hardware. Keep the stuff where it is supposed to be. Keep it wrapped if you need to but please for the love of everything good put it in the same department it belongs in! 4th- please do away with any rebates less than 50.00. Big ticket items, fine. But seriously who is going to venture out for a tool set thats on "sale for 9.99 after a 10.00 rebate" Not to many....
  13. My family is Russian and we always celebrate in January (well I mean it started after we were grown I think half cause it was easier for us to all get together then and half because thats when we should celebrate). We (my dh, dd, and I) do christmas on christmas itself though. ANyways, its not bad having it in January. My mom leaves her (artificial) tree up, has all the decor out still, etc. We cook a huge meal, do presents, etc.. it stills ok PLUS you get the day after christmas deals. LOL I do a big chunck of my extended family shopping the week of/week after Christmas.
  14. So far everything seems to be set in place for me to do exactly as I did last year. (same stores, about the same amt of money, etc) Now if Walgreens opens in my town before then (its supposed to but it looks like they still have a lot of work to do) and Target moves to my town before then (thats never gonna happen but a girl can dream) I'd stay here instead of driving to another town(s). LOL
  15. It depends on what I'm after. This year I thought I was shopping for a flat panel LCD hdtv for the hubby but I caved and already got it for him. So for now I'm thinking 400-600 is what I will have.
  16. If you go with more than one person set up in different areas and grab for each other. (use phones or walkie talkies if need be) If you are hitting a store as it opens have one person get the cart while you go towards wherever you need to go. Check the weather before you head out so you can plan what you wear accordingly (like if it rains/ices/etc) Layers are great in really cold weather cause you can peel them off as you go. :)
  17. We use to go to MIL's leaving my mom with hurt feelings. 2 years ago MIL wouldnt do it on Thanksgiving because FIL couldnt get home (he drives OTR) and we LOVED doing it at home. So last year we said we wanted to do it ourselves. We invite MIL/FIL and my mom/dad but usually only my mom and dad come. We will from now on do Thanksgiving at home... I hope lol I love cooking all the food/getting prepared for BF, etc at home.
  18. Madison is still young so we use a rubbermaid tub with a lid and put it in our laundry room. My mom said she would stash stuff all over the place (in their car, their closet, etc) but there were 5 of us older kids so they had to be creative. lol
  19. My biggest pet peeve is seeing young (young young) kids out in the very cold. I'm not even talking having kids out in general but when its 10 degrees outside take someone with you and leave them in the car until the store opens. I just hate to see little babys/toddlers outside in the freezing cold crying.
  20. We always hit Wal Mart first only because its the first store here that opens and we dont need to go to best buy usually. So this year it'll be probably like last year: wal mart, target, sears (depending on deals), walgreens, ace hardware, home. Then back to wal mart, toys r us, mall stores, target again lol
  21. My first round ends around 8am. Usually I sleep til 11 or so eat leftovers then head out again until late evening. I'm done for the day around dinner time (5-6), then we put up the tree. *ETA* my first round starts around 3am, this year my cousins 16 year old should be babysitting so we wont leave til 4am, I think.
  22. There arent any good outlets near me (heck the only outlet I think we have is a Gap outlet in the mall) so I wont be going to any this year. Well unless Gap has great deals that day.
  23. Ahhhh to see the day that finally happens lol DS games, good dvd's cheap, kid's games (board type games) which target usually has... I'm not really sure as dh's list keeps changing on me (). Stuff for the older boys would be nice since I never know what to get the teen boys in my family. lol
  24. Yeah I'm not looking for a bundle, unless the new Mario game is included.... hmmmmm I think I'll hold off. I will just set the money I'm using to buy it aside until I find the right deal or just decide to go ahead and buy it.
  25. Well being as its 99 days til Christmas (give or take a day) I think I'll start wrapping presents this weekend also. Last year I waited til late to do it and the night before was finding crap to wrap all evening! lol
