my sil told me she just picked up the Jakks one at Big Lots today for $25 (maybe $35)

I think 7 is the perfect age for it...I bought it for my 10 yo son who is CRAZY about dogs, otherwise I'd say he's too old for it

omg isn't that the truth!!!! they were so small my kids couldn't even put them on...this was BEFORE I washed them!!!!! I bought like 6 pairs too...had to take them all back

my walmart has a few, but not nearly as many as they've had in the past...of course, there are usually a ton of these left over and clearanced after Christmas, so maybe they cut back?

lol you should see what some sellers have these set at on ebay....$50 and up! there is a ton on there, but not a lot of bidding...hopefully supply will catch up with demand and people can pay the right price at the stores

I only have one to ship, but it's on the other side of the states! Last year I offered to send the box to my brother for my parents and stuck my gifts inside....OMG I almost died when they told me how much it was to ship! It was over $50!!!! I only spent maybe a total of $50 on the gifts I bought! I swore that this year I would send gift cards too...well....I bought gifts...smaller ones...next year for sure...maybe...lol

dh used to get a Christmas party, that switched to your choice of a turkey or ham a few years ago...last year it switched to nothing, just be happy you still have a job is the bonus we have now

I bought Halo 3 today....they only had 4 in the store, so I got it now rather than take my chances next week...hopefully no problem getting a price adjustment (I've never actually done that on BF before! lol)

I hated waiting outside because you had on 10 layers of clothes and then 5 minutes after you are in the store you thought you where going to pass out because you were so hot. The things we do to save money:D I was laughing so hard when I read this!!!! Isn't that the truth....I LOVE not having to put on so many layers now!!! Just my GottaDeal tshirt layered with a turtle neck! Hey! post 1000!!!!!

my husbands company cancelled the Christmas party a few years ago and went to ham and turkey (you got to pick which you wanted)...I LOVED getting that!!!! This year they cancelled that....I miss it

my target today had a few bakugan tins on the shelf...stock is slowly trickling in...

just got back from our target... they had rainchecks out for the battle arena, but said they were expecting a truck tonite and on Saturday they did have 3 bakugan tins out though... keep checking!

oh I dunno....when the Toys R Us manager told me they only got TEN in for the tournament, that tells me that there's if not an on-purpose shortage, then the manufacture didn't plan on them being as popular remember the shortages on Wii last year (and at times this year), PS3, etc and yes, I know there are a ton on ebay, etc...if I was an ebay seller, I'd be tempted to sell the few extra I bought instead of indulging my boys...it's almost an obsession now...all of us looking and feeling oh so triumphant when we find one or two...it's comical...I feel like running around humming the Rocky theme music! I just hope that everyone who is trying to find these little guys finds enough to make Christmas smiles on their kids faces

no statues and no large bakugans you want the smaller balls....yes, there are 2 of the smaller sizes now (not really noticible unless you have them next to each other) I agree...if you see them, buy them!!!! I think the shortage is on purpose...see how much we are all talking about them??? standard marketing...

the first year we got a supercenter, they had signs posted that they would be closed and nobody would be allowed to enter until 5am...got there at 4 to get in line and guess what...the doors were open and there were hundreds of people there! No idea when they changed their minds cause I was there Thanksgiving evening and the signs were up! Last year my sil and I got there around 3:30 I think...ugh

ya see? that's funny...I've got a Younkers here but never heard of BonTon or EB...never would have guessed they were the same

you can still have all the fun of the season....go take a pic with the mall santa, build a gingerbread house, make cookies and leave out the very best ones, adopt a needy family and personally shop for them (that is the TRUE Santa spirit) my kids get a gift on Christmas eve and it's always a new pair of pj's and they don't get to see anything else until the morning...everything is wrapped and it's all a surprise and lots of fun
