I ran in and got the arena for the cheap price (taking the one I already had back tomorrow!), but while I was there I was totally surprised to see they had 4 NEW types of bakugans there...they were white and when my son saw them he got VERY excited and said "those are the new ones with the special power..."...I dunno, they were $7.48 each and I grabbed all 4...but be on the lookout (oh ya, I posted in the other threads but since we are all looking for the same thing...my Sam's club had a box set of 6 bakugans, cards and the arena for $24.99)

I was at my Sam's Club tonight and they had the same or similiar bakugan kit for $24.99!!!!!! My store had about 8 of them on the shelf!!!

has anyone played the Beijing Olympics game? one of my boys is a gymnast and the other is into swim and wrestling, so the olympics were a BIG deal here...they love the mario olympics for their DS I found the Beijing game at Target for $34 (down from $59), so I grabbed it, but before I commit to giving it to them, I'd like to know if anyone has any comments on it

I went to one Target and two TRU today.... I found ONE 3 pack at the Target and the only other things they had were the statues One TRU only had statues and 3 of the card game that comes with dice...I haven't seen these before, so I'm not sure if the game is fun or not the other TRU had ONE bakugan hanging up...I practically flew across the aisle to grab it oh ya, we were at a Walmart as well...I was able to get the game board and the portable board too...I know you don't need them, but the boys want them but that's it! one mom at a store that had nothing was just starting her shopping and was looking for them and said how hard they are to find...I told her if she sees them to grab them even if it's not the 'exact' one her son is asking for at one TRU a clerk asked me if I was finding everything...when I showed him the singular bakugan and said "at least I found ONE thing" lol...he said, ya, we can't keep those in stock...they sent us 10 for the tournament and those were gone in one minute!

all our stores are totally wiped out right now...I was planning on running in to Toys R Us tomorrow, but I have plans that I can't change....I'm hoping they will have a LOT and put them out for the tournament and maybe, just MAYBE won't sell out.... lol

if you see it, buy it!!!! my ds 13 told me that each player needs to have at least 3 ball-guys to play...he was given 3 for his birthday, but can't play the 'real' way with his brothers cause they don't have any the smaller bakugan's are the ones you want...the bigger ones aren't as cool

depends on their definition of holiday...it could mean this week is holiday and next week is 'season' and Black Friday is BF... ya know? I doubt that something that is on sale now is the absolut lowest price you will see before the actual holidays are here...but it may be the lowest SO FAR....

I'm looking for Xbox....hopefully we can find out if it's a good deal (good bundle maybe)

favorite treats (candy, nuts, etc), golf balls, small puzzle toys, boxers, cologne, toothbrush heads (he uses those expensive tooth brushes with the interchangable heads), socks, pens (he's an artist and LOVEs various pens), etc just about anything small enough to fit in it...even regular gifts if they are small will end up in the stocking so they don't get lost!

Guitar Hero will NOT teach your son to play the real guitar. My ds13 plays guitar and LOVES GH, but when he was just starting on both, it made it more difficult. Even though the controller LOOKS like a guitar, it is still a video game controller and has nothing to do with guitar. It's a VERY fun game though and I'm sure he'll love it!

I would say that the PSP is more 'adult' than the DS. All the cool 'character' type games will be for the DS. Sure there are some that are appropriate on the PSP, but I think it more heavily weighs towards adult

my sil did the cut out the pics and paste them on her list...worked great for her EXCEPT when she wanted to price-match at Walmart cause one store ran out of her item...she needed my intact ad to get the pm (I know some of you have stores that aren't that 'anal' about it, but here it depends on who you get); they insisted on having the store name at the top, dates and times, etc on the ad all right there

I remember one year the credit card machines were not working at Walmart!!!! OMG it was horrible I also redeemed my credit card points for gift cards, although I like the idea of dividing them up for how much to spend on each person something else I started, although way too late for this year, when I redeem my returnable bottles and cans (I know not all states do this), I get the money put on a gift card and I just keep reloading that gift card....I am starting now for next year and plan on using that gift card for BF next year...like a tiny Christmas fund

my friend got her's mailed to her 2 days ago (she brought it for me to see last night) I hope I get one today...I like having the print copy in hand for comparision shopping and for the kids to circle stuff

usually a really warm coat... but THIS year I will be wearing a turtleneck under my official GottaDeal BF tshirt!!!!! I will skip the coat (unless it's around zero...however, now we have a 24 hour Walmart it won't matter if I wear a coat....I used to ditch it after the first wait to get in a store). Along with a scarf, hat and two pairs of gloves! lol

I have a bag that I only use on BF; it has a clear pocket on one side and a deep inside. On the clear pocket size I put my sales flyers which I have stapled (that way when you are trying to whip through one you don't lose any of those pages) and a list of what I want from which store. Inside the bag I keep extra copies of flyers along with my chocolate, drink and money.

lol the mail carrier we've had for 10 years was JUST reassigned!!!!! we've had 4 different people this week....looks like I'm on the 'training route' now ugh...dunno if I'll be leaving a gift if I'm not sure who's going to get it...
