  1. I loved the Garanimals clothes when my boys were much smaller...especially with twins, I would load up on all the outfits that would be interchangable and have even more outfits than I planned on cause they would all work I think Walmart still carries this line
  2. 22 days!!!!!!! OMG I'm getting sooooo excited!!!
  3. I used to dress my kids almost entirely out of Old Navy...then they closed up here, so now most of their stuff comes from Kohls, Target and Walmart My ds 13 wears only Levi's...mostly cause they are the only ones that fit him right...for shirts since he's a 'teen' now, I try to be a bit more trendy so he has SOME Hawk, South Pole and Aeropostel stuff...but honestly, I think the store brand stuff is just as cool and sometimes lasts longer than the expensive stuff my twin ds 10's wear whatever I find on sale...they have various brands of pants all bought on clearance, shirts that are almost totally from Walmart...at this age, they out grow before they really wear out, so I would just rather pay $8 for a shirt they will wear for 6 months then toss or donate it when they are done
  4. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!! you cannot believe how excited I am!!!!!! this was a REALLY fun contest!!!!!!!!!!!! kind of like a scavenger hunt which I think is a blast!

  9. no sell????? huh????? ohhhhh wait!!!! you mean sale!!!!! ok I get it....
  10. nothing in today's mail and our Target not only did not have any books, the lady at customer service told me she wished SHE could get one!!! but had no idea how to get one
  11. darn it!!! I JUST got back home!!!!! arrgghhhhh
  12. nothing in my mail either...I'm going to check our Target later today, but the last two years they haven't gotten the book in, so I dunno if they'll have it...
  13. we technically don't buy for each other, but I get stuff for him... he used to want me to make out a list of what I wanted, where in the store it was, how much, color, size, etc...it felt more like I was sending him on an errand than him shopping for me he never buys for himself during the year, and I usually do the shopping so I pick up what I need and occasionally want for myself I'm hoping eventually when the kids are bigger they will think of me and go shop for their mom once in awhile
  14. I always give something to my mail carrier...usually it's a cute item I've made, but this year I think I'll get some gift certificates for a fast food restaurant we never get the same UPS person or I'd do something for them too I never know if we have a new paper delivery person either or they'd be on my list too
  15. this is really a cute idea....I'd sooooo do this!
  16. I did a search and didn't see this, so hopefully it's not a repeat...it's available online AND in store.. www.sears.com/vip special hours and discounts...store will be open later than usual as well
  17. it really depends on your set-up and how many people... with Thanksgiving, I usually host and have 9-10 people, I can fit 8 at the main table and a small table to the side for my twins works well for us we just had my ds 13th birthday and had 20 people here...no place for everyone to sit, so we did it buffett and had two tables set up in different rooms and tray tables in the room connecting the two rooms you do what you have to do....I prefer family style, so whenever possible, that's what I do, but sometimes it just won't work and I agree with leefamily23...food should be much better planned...I ALWAYS over make cause I'd rather have leftovers too (like dancglady) :) although one year at my grandmother's for Thanksgiving (this was many years ago), we were sitting family style, but the food was passed around and when it got back to the head of the table, my grandmother put whatever was leftover into Tupperware!!!! Nobody got seconds on anything!!!! It was a weird year cause she also set the table with paper plates, plastic silverware and Dixie cups with water (dishes were never a problem cause I always washed them for her).... families....lol
  18. pass our flyers promoting GottaDeal (must submit pic proof of you doing it) recon: pictures of the 5 items you think will be top sellers/hard to get on BF (you must be in pic and have a GottaDeal 'sign' in the pic with the items) a write-in contest...who most deserves a shirt and why a similiar write-in contest...who DOESN'T deserve a shirt but wants one anyway (this could be really funny)
  19. here's my problem....got the Rockband for PS2 last year for ds10, this year ds13 wants GH World Tour...and dh10 wants RB 2 this year... I do NOT have room for 2 sets of drums, extra guitars, etc ugh...what to do....
  20. Butterscotch was both hit and miss here....I got it for my son who LOVED it and screamed and laughed and loved it to death the first week...then slowly tapered off...however when I said something about giving it to the kids at the shelter, he cried and said we couldn't get rid of his horse...so I'm just not sure other son wants Biscuit this year...not sure if I want another large toy like that which will be loved but not played with that much other hits; rockband, real electric guitar miss; rc helicopter (from grandparents), stupid thing wouldn't fly well at all
  21. please please please..... sitting with my fingers crossed... :)
