you will need to get the recorder (obviously) and then the blank dvd-r's to record on. + and - are just two different types of blank dvd's. dvd-r are more widely accepted in dvd players. for some reason, mine will only read the +R discs correctly. there's some technical site that explains it, but even when i read it, it doesn't make that much sense. the recorder should come with some blank dvd's for you to use, and then you will need to get your own. i personally like the fujifilm dvd-r's (and when you're buying them, try to get the ones that say made in japan on them)

i always buy clothes in january. all stores are having clearances then.

it's a size down in my experience from the gap. but it also depends on what pants you're buying at the gap - those classic cut jeans fit a lot differently from the low rise jeans.

lol since it's been cold lately, my bf discovered this sale. he tried to get an alabama one (since he grew up there) but they were out. they don't have UCLA ones, so he picked the one school he had nothing to do with - wisconsin. just so he can stay warm.

the places i live in: 1. ross 2. marshall's 3. tj maxx 4. outlet malls. i've never been in a steinmart, so i'm not sure what brands they carry there. outlet malls are the best because you know they are direct from the manufacturer (sigh drool burberry outlet...) they are either from previous seasons or slightly imperfect (just examine the item) or they are samples (i.e. all the purses i loved at burberry..) i don't trust ebay because there are so many fakes out there. i did get one prada bag off of ebay, and they gave me the registration cards, so tha vendor seemed legit. but a 400 dollar bag going for 30 bucks has got to make you pause and think "is this real..." just make sure you check their feedback.

there are never discounts. i heard of a backwards way of getting in - if you give a non member a costco cash/gift card, they will let you in for that time only. i'm not sure if it still works.

yup that's the way it goes - if you don't have a receipt, you get a credit for the item as it currently comes up in the system.

well i'm female, and i enjoy the smaller, sleeker looking item, plus i take care of my electronics, so i make sure they don't scratch, put them in protective casings, etc. i only got the 2gb nano, and seriously, i listen to... 10 songs at a time when i'm at the gym. the only time do i run through all 8 hours that i currently have loaded on there is when i'm doing OT on a saturday. i can't even fill this thing up, since i like to change my songs for the moods i'm in, take out older albums that have been in heavy rotation, etc. it is really going to depend on the person you are purchasing it for.

it depends on who the ipod is for. i have a nano and i really like it. if i had a video i'd be ecstatic for the best time killer ever.

i've heard nothing but bad things about maxtor, but then IBM had the "deathstar" HD's for a while. it's so hit or miss. i have a 45gig WD that's still ticking after 6 years. not one failure. my 200gb WD from a year ago failed (but that was probably due to bad RAM) nothing but raves so far for seagate, plus they're speedy about their rebates.

well my brother tried to get the camera for 127 (casio 5mp exlim) but they were out, so instead he got a 20" lcd for 425 AR (which i'm using right now) there will probably be a new set of ads for sat through tues.

we were there today, and it was chaos. my sister wanted jeans and we got her one pair for 25 bucks, and i got a new purse for only 3. they had some clearance jeas for 20 bcucks (so 10 bucks after the discount) but they didn't have her size. line wasn't that bad though, they actually had all the registers going.

they have a 5 yr warranty, so you should be good for a few years.
