i got a printer while in college (just a regular color inkjet) but i never wound up printing on it. i used the printer at work, or if you don't have those kind of abuse privileges, used the printer in the labs. the printer takes up space.

dang. she's hardcore. but for that much money, it'd probably be worth it.

i remember when the last new ikea opened, they had a FREE CHAIR (value: 99.00) for the first 100 people. i wanted to line up (cuz i kinda liked the chair, and it was... free.) but my bf thought that was nuts. i was about to yell "stop calling san francisco frisco!" but then i saw it was in texas. we have some ikea furniture, like a cheap couch that now houses my stuffed animals, and some tv stands, the dining table and dining chairs. it's cheap, which is what we cared about more at the time. we were poor college students... and now we're poor inbetweenies. i love ikea hot dogs though... and cookies...mmmm... i have this spatula from ikea that's lasted way longer than i thought, a vegetable peeler, but the 3.00 frying pan died pretty quickly.

YES! wait i dunno if the one nearby would though. must try.

damn. this is a great "i'm gonna go sit at the internet cafe and get some sun yet be online" laptop.

well they're all salesmen. we were looking at one in a mall in los angeles, just to look at the size, weight and monitor, and the guy asked if he had any questions. "no we're just checking the system out." "are you interested in ordering?" "yeah but we're probably going to wait until they next 750 off coupon comes out." "oh then i'll just leave you guys alone." i need to do that more.

i'll wait til the end of july. we have a little liberty until about early august as to when we need to go buy a laptop.

AAA is so awesome still... but then i also use AAA for insurance so i have to have the membership. but yesterday my battery died and they came and jumped it for me. yay.

they usually send me some random one with my statement, but i haven't bought anything in a while.

one of the zillions of taxes they add on each month. our phone bill + DSL bill each month is about 46 dollars. phone service is 10.60, DSL is 26.95. there's 8 something in phone taxes, and the rest are SBC DSL taxes.

if i was in the market for a minivan, i'd seriously only look at the odyssey or the sienna. while my parents chrysler minivan took us on so many trips over the years, i also remember the peeling the paint, the many many repair jobs, the rebuilt transmission, and when we finally gave it away, the car not being able to go past 30mph. no dodge, ever. too many people in my family have had problems with dodge's family of vehicles and transmission problems. it still hasn't stopped either, you'd think someday they'd learn to look over the quality of their vehicles...

i told him, and i was looking around and pricing them, but he's absolutely convinced an IBM is for him. i saw one for 1349 and i was like "ARE YOU SURE?!?!?!" sigh. maybe i'll just have to get my own. hehe.

my bf is absolutely CONVINCED he wants an IBM laptop now. arghhhhhhh he said he's heard too many dell horror stories. i wonder how many of these are attributed to user error.

ooh. tempting. damnit. CA i have to pay sales tax though.
