EVERYONE: cut it out with the personal attacks. i've already started deleting comments and if it continues the thread will be closed.

my local one closed sometime last year and moved to a smaller location. now i see a "for lease" sign up in their new location. i think this area just has ridiculously high rents. plus their new location is horrible, with no attached parking lot.

staples presidents day ad...
freesia39 replied to BigSlama912's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
i nearly bought the 19.99 shredder but when i saw it in store i deemed it too large for us. i bought the 29.99 (AR) mailmate instead and it's SO quiet. and cute. i like it a LOT better. -
that's my ring... minus the camouflage. i don't think the camo comes with it either. if it's paint, it would flake off or wear off.

do you have the picture saved on your computer? if you do: 1. reply to the post (in the advanced reply, not the quick reply at the bottom of the thread) 2. scroll down to where it says "attach files" 3. click on "manage attachments" 4. a little screen will pop up. click on "browse" 5. search for the image on your computer. double click on it. 6. on the pop up screen, click "upload" 7. the file will be uploaded to the website. 8. you can close the pop up screen. now under "attach files" it should have the name of the file. 9. press "submit reply" below all the options, attach files, etc. 10. the image should then show up in your post as "attached thumbnails" and we can also click on it to enlarge the picture. if the image is on the internet, please give us the link to the website so that we can see it.

staples presidents day ad...
freesia39 replied to BigSlama912's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
well now that i've seen the ad, i think i need to get that shredder. our current one is dead, with a half shredded credit card in there. -
best bet is tomorrow and it should be 50% off. i'm going to try CVS tomorrow. target though usually has the largest selection of what's left. my CVS was already looking pretty bare yesterday.

Best place to sell Textbooks?
freesia39 replied to katiesmommy01's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
half allows you to put the book up until it sells or you take it down. ebay you only have up to a week to sell the item. half doesn't take any money until the item actually sells too. half also gives you a shipping allowance (so these sellers cannot overcharge you on shipping with lower prices) so the shipping prices are determined by half. however it can be on the low side for some items. -
Best place to sell Textbooks?

half or amazon. however check to see if the editions are still current. if they aren't, sorry, they're not going to sell. maybe you can donate them somewhere. -
Looking for a % off coupons for BB/CC/WM or Target
freesia39 replied to shockwave78's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
do you have a rewardszone card with BB? I just received coupons in the mail from them. -
the DVD they include in the starter box is great selling tool. i nearly wanted to go out and buy the additional materials so i could use it as eyeliner and so on but restrained myself! i went into a store for additional help in putting on the makeup, and they said in the video, they don't use enough! it was helpful in showing just how much you need to put on and to tap out.
-
good to know! i just barely got myself the starter kit but for the future!

well i tried searching "free cloth" but the only thing that came up was a windex cleaning cloth but that was from 2006.

http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Best_Price_Cameras_6 don't order from them! the price is low for a reason - they're frauds. they will call you to confirm your order, and then go "oh by the way, your camera doesn't come with a battery. you can purchase that from us for this obscene price." then they'll try to tack on other accessories and expedited shipping.

Mario Bros. For WII} Did You Get The Discount?
freesia39 replied to gkaussietykes4's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=99021 that thread discussed "super smash bros" that you could order from walmart for the wii for only 20 bucks i believe. all the orders got cancelled and people were emailed 10.00 GCs instead. please continue discussion in the above thread. -
sadly no but research the company thoroughly about how much they charge, how they charge, and their insurance claims process. there are way too many stories of things getting damaged or even stolen.

you don't need to add your birthday via the calendar - click on "Control panel" and then "edit your details." there will be a box for your birthday to be entered. under privacy, choose for it to display your birthday.

ProFlowers rant - a fuel surcharge!?!?!
freesia39 replied to jerseygirl's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
FedEx may be the one charging the fuel surcharge. i process our fedex invoices at work and it is tacked on all our shipments. -
where to buy vegetable seeds at a discount?
freesia39 replied to madiemae06's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
i always saw them at home depot or maybe target? -
fireworks might be a bit much. i looked at a location in pasadena, and they said i had to get a permit to LIGHT CANDLES. i had to bring my proposed candle ideas to the fire department, pay for a permit, and get approval from the fire chief. so yes, ask the catering manager at your venue to see what the restrictions on fire are... i know we couldn't do fireworks, we'd need clearance and make sure it's not windy and that we're not doing it over a wooded area... but i'm in CA and we seem to go up in flames every few years.

if the sender sent you a message from their phone: they are charged if you receive a message on your phone: you are charged there is a charge associated with sending data from one phone to the other. if you have a monthly plan that figures in a certain number of text messages, then you've already paid for it unless you go over your monthly allotment. otherwise, it's only like 0.15 per text message, compared to the 2 bucks they usually charge for a ringtone.

i believe the codes are one time use, so be careful.

it will submit them to those websites. the more often a certain web page is "digg"ed for example, it will show up on the digg website and generate more traffic this way. so if you "digg" a certain thread or anywhere on the internet, a certain webpage and you want to get it more traffic, submit it to digg and the more "diggs" it gets, the higher up on their webpage it goes.
