Good Morning Eveyone! My name is gretchen. I have been a BF addict for 4? years? I am super excited the site is up!!!! SOOO excited. I think I may be looking for a gps for my nephew who told me yesterday he "sucks" at directions. And of course toys for my little one!

You can tell him it is a glaring example of Market Pyschology (sp). The whole thing started with the retailers- the day they finally made a profit for the year ( in the black)... and we did- and still feed into it. It actually may be interesting to demonstrate how this has turned to be a consumer driven day now by using Walmarts fiasco last year to illustrate. I think with some research here.... he may have the best damn paper his teacher will see!!!!

I do sort of the same thing. I think I got the idea from here actually. Thru the year when I break a bill I try not to spend the one dollar bills, at the end of the week they go into a jar along with my change and once a month it goes to the Christmas club at the bank.... I have 650.00 so far.... usually i can weasel another 200.00 from DH when i tell him it is for his side of the family....

Oh come on.... those bathrobes make great gifts every year for my sisters in law.

Didn't that wind up being a big diaster for them last year? I remember they posted online specials too and when each was revealed it wasn't so special?? I do remember hearing reports that despite all their horn tootin they didn't have the spending $$ they were anticipating. Let's hope they recall last year in this years planning.

Anyone else thinks that there should be some sort of reward for those of us injured on BF? Last year I got a gouged (sp)ankle and missed taking a little people toy set to the eye by millimeters..... Who else has been injured "in the heat of the battle"? lol

"We do both. First I string the small white lights and then we string the larger color lights. It looks so pretty. Because we get a real tree I only plug the white lights in for the afternoon and late at night and when the kids are up or we have company I plug them all in. It is really neat with both, it gives the tree two different looks" wonder if that is a MA thing? We have a prelit tree with all white and we add the multi colored strings to it. I definitley like the gingerbread house effected the colored lights give.

I got the shop vac last year and I don't recall but I must have seen it here, because I specifically went there for that. The size was very large and Dh LOVED it, totally wasn't expecting it!

Walmart for me, although after last year I am not so sure, there's New target in town and a kohls to be opening for November so Wally is going to have to do something to get my attention this year.

I think I started saving in January, I am soooo ready!!!!! I hope walmart gets their act together this year!!!

hey I was wondering how you made out!!! I was done with the bellingham "circuit" by 730, had breakfast, went to Kohls and AC moore and then home tio sllep till around 3... I headed out to the Mall then.... I GOT A SPACE NEAR THE DOOR IN 5 minutes flat!!!! Headed to the outlets after that literally from emerald square to Wrentham Outlets in 15 minutes. I found a parking spot right near "off saks 5th", BUT you wouldn't beleieve the paking people took! Like parking on the little rass islands and on the embankments near the cracker barrel!!!! I took pic and i will post them, because jeez it was a wonder theses cars didn't just roll off the hill at the crazy angles they were parked in..... But the shopping is done--- for now,,,,,I hit every major installation

OMG! Wrentham?? rediculous........I was headed up to Walamrt bellingham and no joke ALL 3 LANES of 495n DEAD STOP from the 95 exit!!!!! IT was insane, my friend tried the "back door" by taking aces roads thu plainville, packed for those too! I talked to a girl in line at walmart who went to the outlet? said said the sales were not so hot!

I have my favorite.... the master card commercial that shows the house from the kids book getting filled with people and is very happy when she has her family inside. awwwwww.

we have prelit tree too, but I add multi-color to it and outside I do garland and wreaths on then fence with multi colored and multi colored on the porch too, gives it a ginger-bready feel I think!
