OMG I think I was at that same Walmart. I was not expecting the early opening and wasn't sure how to handle that. THE ROPES!? Horrible..... the helped no one and confused people. I am going to stop in on Friday and talk to the manager ( hopefully same guy it has been for past few years- nice guy) and find out what the deal is. Is your Walmart off 495 by chance? I can certainly let you know what he says.

I called TRU about 3 weeks ago, was told there was no mailing list to sign up for anymore. THEN I went to the store and they said they could not give me a sale book till Sunday.... arrrghhh:mad:

My concern would be not so much your physical condition ( c section too and was racing down the hall to get the baby from the nursery :) ) However, I wonder if the lack of sleep a new born can impose would be not a great mix. I know by week 2 after DS arrived, I was OUT OF MY MIND with tiredness.

I got an email from TRU about a Christmas Geo trax set. DH has been begging for years to get a train for around the tree ( which goes up the sunday after BF). I think this set is going to be the winner..... but $130 list price is a bit much. Here is hoping it gets the BF treatment.

Well my 1st Target PP was sort of a sucess. I got 2 pancake puff pans for 6.98 ( on for the as seen on yv addict friend lol) 2 sets of iron man text messenger toys for 3.98 and a memrmaid doll for 2.98. Not bad right?

I just ordered the luggage set fr my cousin, she is going to FL in February... thought this may be ok for her to bring.

Did anyone else have their walmart set up as a maze of ropes that say Do not enter.... literally ropes and aisles made into dead ends with big heavy merchandise. Literally it was far more dangerous as it is now than it ever was before.

Jim ya know I love ya more than my luggage... these pallets were blacked shrink wrapped and the "shippping" label in the upper corner were labeled Blitz item #####- along with other info which seemed to be internal shipping info and or store coding. So Walmart is officially a liar AND I called them again later last night and when I asked what were their Black Friday hours the girl said ummm oh 7am to 11pm, I answered "are you sure about that?" and then she placed her hand over the phone and asked some one else.... So Walmart fibs about stuff ( the "blitz" word and are apparently hiring associates that have not a clue about what Friday is..... Jim- I have fear. I am startin to feel like Seth Green in the arms of a gorilla.

So I was doing some recon today and spoke to the manager about the whole opening up at midnight.....they are opening the doors at 4, but you cannot purchase anything blitz till 5am. OK, so what's blitz, because I saw black pallets with shipping stickers marked blitz with like "hanes" displays in them, so if it's something like the 3$ PJ's, does that mean you have to lineup for that???
