Does any one in the New England area know if there isa channel that plays the 3 stooges alot that day ( more to the point- AFTER the parade) I would love to be able to have my hubby watch that while I cook)

I think it is going to wind up being Walmart, but there is discussion if Walmsrt is stinky heading to th mall for the KB opening.

IF you are going to do this I would suggest that you do this VERY early Ie Your friends arrive at 1230 and you get there at 1 so then you ALL are like the 2nd or 3rd people there ( timing depending on your area)and you have a smaller more amicable crowed that is there before you and likley won't care. HOWEVER holding a place in line for a freiend that shows up at 330 or for for a 5 AM opening??? NOT COOL

You know what walgreens is great for on BF? Wrapping paper and such and odd little stocking stuffers. I defintiley go on BF one of my last stops before i go home. This year the walgreens had a cvs move in right next door, literally, and CVS accepts walgreens coupons! Will be interesting to see how that plays out!

well target actually said they were not running it this year.... oh well

Hi Monkey! just for a bit o trivia- the x-mas thing is not to take the Christ out of christmas but actually refers to the original language! The X represents the "Chr" sound in the greek alphabet and the capital X actually is the differentiation between some one named "christos" like my DH and "Christos" with the capitalization. Alot people think the x is to remove Christ- it actually emphasizes his prescense I think.

how much so those typically go for- because if they are cheaper enough I will get a pair for my best friend and I to use.....

Macy's I think- usually runs a great whites sale before turkey day- so I have heard, I need a new down comforter so I am keeping my eyes peeled. The new macys in our mail has 3 outer entrances so I don't need to venture into the mall itself if I am not inclined- the parking, now that could be an issue.

Anyone else think this will make the BF prices lower? They do such big busines to accomodate us wackos:tongue1: that I would think they would have to have even deeper BF blitzes to draw us in on that day? Or am I just wishful thinking?

I am just guessing, but I wouldn't guess that many people in Isreal celebrate christmas- prolly why you are having probs trying to find christmas traditions there. There was someone who posted on another holidat thread that said they were jewish and celebrated christmas.....maybe they have an idea you can borrow that sort of bridges both faiths.

I took the week before christmas off, I think if all the shopping is done- i may stop in for a matinee?

My work does something too and we are getting my eam together to "adopt" a family- I figure with ateam our size ( aprrox 30 people) we should be ab;e to do a very goos job with a whole amily- big gifts and all. hopefully I will get a heads up on the family so I can utilize black friday!!!

I got maybe 2 dozen trick or treaters and had candy for at least 2 dozen more..... I was doing the "one for you, one for me" routine by the end of the night..... I was sooo sick ALL night and had a candy hangover ALL day today!

I think I like the hershey kiss one too.
