I just saw the new hallmark cards for christmas, SOOOOOO CUTE. They have one showing the last scene in a Chrlie brown Xmas where all the kids sing together and when you open IT IS the kids singing! The also had scenes from Frosty and rudolph!!!!

My DH COMPULSIVLEY does the #2 Alarm clock thing every time he goes into a store with alarm clocks..... LOL....MEN!

i think we are going to do it the weekend after.... maybe I will go solo this year with out DH. We don't do a whole lot.... 2 small trees in the yard with lights and lighted garland on the fence...... I thik I can handle that,,,,, we can do the tree when he gets home from work.

I usually get in line no later than 230 to assure I am in the top ten and the doors open at 5....3 hours, not great but not horrible if you are prepared.

I always grab a cart. I always seem to need the big ackward boxes so the cart is a must have. Worst case I don't fill it, it can hold the many layers of clothing i peel off while waiting in line for check out.

I like the nap idea,,,, Maybe I "execute" my orginal plan of attack, be home by say noon, nap till 4 and go back out- shop and have nice dinner with my friends?????

I had thought of taking a camera and taking pictures of my friends and I and the lines... BUT then I have announced to the whole of the populace that i have a very nice camera ( thanks to my DH on the bday!) whether on my person-or if I leave it in the car like 20 minutes before opening- then those same people know there is a very nice camera in a very nice truck parked _oh just 10 yards from where they are standing.... It's a conumdrum!

I checked the site and it wasn't there... maybe they will put it up later?

More than I care to think about......

Last year I picked up some mugs at the dolar stor, filled christmas goodie bags with coco and mini mrsels and marshmellow and then stuck it in the mug with a ribbon adorned candy cane..... Don't want a repeat but I do need something cute and sort of cheap..... anyone out there have ideas??

If you like wizards you will pretty much like the rest of their stuff. My favorite was Christmas in Sarajevo, now I thinkin it is Old city bar- which is sad, but hey what are ya gonna do.

Anyone in your area that attracts, hmmmm how to say this diplomatically....traffic??? We have one and as wonderful as the display is it can drive one mad trying to get home.

It's just my hubby and I and I had to really think before could find our "tradition". We watch a sequence of movies while putting up the tree. Chralie Brown, the grinch, Mickeys' christmas carol, the night before christmas ( which usually takes us to the end of the tree decorating) and top it off with Christmas vacation.

I confess 3 or 4 times a day..

I have actually lined some of our clear rubbermaid storage bns with junk and stuck the "goods" in the middle. DH could sleep thru a war so I get up a bit early and sneak those out too. lol - I like the sutcase idea too though!
