How bout going old school? Roast some chestnuts? Go Caroling? Local light display? I do also like the idea of helping out at a food pantry, toys for tots, etc. If you have younger children.....I think a soup kitchen where the kids may see some hard on their luck may be a bit too real for young kids.... Sledding is a great idea too!

There are many people that will not be able to afford a Thanksgiving meal of their own- some for the first time in their lives. Please consider donating a Turkey or roast or what ever you can to your local food bank. I know myself, we are able to celebrate this year -ONLY because of an EXTREMELY well timed break. Many people won't get that this year.... I don't mean to be a bummer, but it is something so simple, that we, or at I took it for granted for far too long. Please do what you can to support your local food bank. Thanks guys!

So far this was the best ad I have seen. The ball is officially in Walmart's court now......and it ain't looking great for them. Any thought's on the 12mp camera for 69.99? I am also thinking I am scooping up the diapers and wipes. ( hopefully these will be the last packs of diapers we will need- potty training!)
