  1. Hey Big Jim! I need to get a tent for my relay for life next summer. I was starting to look around because of the end of season. I have never bought a tent before....Tents don't need stakes? Can you tell me more???
  2. Well DH just fired to starting gun. He wants an ice cream maker- strange but hey it's Christmas. Digi Cam for my self 10+Mp's would be nice. Thomas stuff for Baby boy!!!! Think I am going it alone this year which I don't think I will entirely mind.
  3. And gere I was thinking I was the only sicko thinking of my DAY of the year!!!! woohooooo:D
  4. I bought an inflatable birthday elmo. I had no problems with it, was brand new in box... I was happy with their service.
  5. I feel horrible about this..... and I am now thinking back to this AM where no stampeding took place and thinking if I really want to be a part of this anymore. It some how seems like I am feeding the frenzy by going even in my own small suburb. FYI the mom is ok as well as the baby..... they are in the hospital for observation, but this goes back to the thread about pregnant mom's going out on BF, not really a great idea, nothing is worth that much risk.
  6. I LOVE mine!!!! the are totally comfy cozy and warm..... I just picked up a pair for my aunt for christmas, she had some foot surgery and I think this would feel like HEAVEN on her poor foot! UGGS ARE AWESOME!!!!
  7. Well as bad a missing BF is, latley the news is FILLED with talks of layoffs, so maybe it is better knowing you are secure in employment, being a new hire, than be Bf shopping and out of a job the week of christmas, know what I mean?
  8. funny... my husband had the same reaction.....
  9. I wonder how , if at all that may effect the posting of an ad?
  10. For what it is worth, there is one in Wrentham.
  11. I ordered the Christmas Tradition treasury book, for my department as a gift, 55 books cost just 13$$$
  12. Ordered yesterday! Very excited, this will be a a great toy table too! It came with the train station, but I could not find any more tracks or accessories. Well I love that we will have a fabulous toy table at very least.
  13. I have to agree, I married dec. 30th! and it was stressful, but that was my choice. And I certainly did not skip christmas for anyone~
  14. Just found out a Hbfrt store opened in my area, so I am adding that to the BF driving list, makes it more fun....we'll see.
  15. I agree:g_clap: I have a co- worker that every year asks me to pick up things for her, not because she has to work, not because she hasn't the cash at that time, but because SHE DOESN'T WANT TO WAIT IN THE COLD!!!! Guess what neither do I! But if it means I save the money then I will put the effort in and I am appalled that she thinks I am her personal shopper in 26 degree weather while she is all snug in her bed! ummmm.......NO WAY! You want the deal BUNDLE UP... CUZ BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE:singer:
  16. Whether you are hosting or being hosted for thanksgiving. It's OVER by 8!... Take what you can to sleep ( because I am always too excited to sleep on my own.), go to bed, sleep for the appropraite amount of time for your store. ( mine is usually Walmrt so I get up at 1am). Make a plan! I hit walmart and t-r-u on the same road. head up one exit to get Target by 6, bb- if it is not crazy- Kohls, radio shack, kmart, and joanne fabrics ( cute decor and stocking stuffers sometimes) and then it is 730 time for breakfast at the friendly's. Go home sleep, get up at noon and hit the mall ( as all the amatuers are packing it in by then) then the outlets just as all those wonderful clerks have time to restock from the midnight madness. I also bring little gifts ( cookies, small things) to give to those after noon, because let's face it... HOLY CRAP DOES THEIR DAY SUCK! and it let's them know you appreciate it! But see it is all in the plan.....
  17. I go out with the intention of getting all my christmas shopping done. However, considering like us all, I have gotten up at an UNGODLY hour, FROZEN my bum off, fought crowds, cutters and ankle biters, I always get a gift for me for my effort! Nothing too big- although this year I think if the Cricut machine is on sale that will be my reward. I also put a good gift under the tree " to me from me with love!" B/c dh, yea, got me a weight watchers scale last year- so he is clearly not great in the idea department. Oh well it's the thought that counts.
  18. I got a roaster oven 3? years ago on BF... It still works great! I use it when I host turkey dinner for my whole family. 2 turkeys 1 in the oven ( the pretty bird) and the other in the roaster (the meat bird) lol. It has made those dinners SOOO much less stressful because I know that I have plenty for everyone to eat!
  19. Brad- you are too good- do you know that- just too too good!
  20. Just added- hoping I am in the top 25!!! So excited about that.... why didn't we think of this before??? Does this give us anymore freedom of information you think?
  21. roflma, you guys are going to need to put up signs, " the Slades" " the jones'" the "smiths" hehehehehehe
  22. hey Jim, has anyone ever given you a hard time when you step out of line to put your stuff away and then rejoin?
