  1. I need to checkout and go shopping at Kohls and Target!
  2. Yep I kept trying to checkout. I put in my CC info and then got the "we're closed" page. I didn't want to keep refreshig then because I was scared to end up with multiple orders.
  3. Looks like they really closed it down now. Will have to wait till six.
  4. I set my alarm to three and slept through it until five. I am sooo mad right now. Hopefully I can get my otheer stuff from staples.
  5. I don't have much to really buy this year, and most of it will be done tomorrow, but here is the stuff I have gotten: BB: The 19 inch LCD monitor $99.99 (+ ~$10 shipping) Black and Decker dustbuster $8.99 (free shipping) Amazon House Season 1 $12.99 How I met your mother Season 1 $12.99 --free shipping for both. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get the stuff I need from Kohls, Staples, and Target. :) Maybe JC Penney if I am not too tired. I need to get up early but I'm waiting on Amazon to update.
  6. I counted 18 at CC. There must have been nearly 40 people at BB, though.
  7. minimum one per store? are they serious?
  8. I ordered something that was exactly $20, so I did not have to input any CC information. Hopefully my order does not get canceled!
  9. Exactly, I would have been too tired after spending the night waiting outside to really go anywhere else and would have done my entire BF shopping (including non loss leader stuff that I needed) there. I already do a lot of shopping at Staples as it is (it's <5 min away) but I guess I'll only go there only for FAR stuff and such.
  10. That sucks, but I could see it happening as there is no minimum printed by the ads. A couple of my friends worked there and told me that they could pretty much set aside whatever they wanted from the BF sale, including the doorbusters. At least at BB and CC the minimum is printed, so although the employees can still get in on the deals, people in line will have an idea whether they will be able to get their item or not. It's not like it matters for me, given that my Staples doesn't even have the laptop in their ad. This was the only thing I actually needed to shop for on BF, but would have picked up other stuff there. Now I'm not sure if it's even worth the trip.
  11. TY very much for the link. Hopefully I'll be able to snag one online as my local Staples does not have the laptop deal! kiss161: Yes, there is free shipping on all orders now through 12/26.
  12. I would travel one hour, but the closest Staples to us that has the laptop is 3+ hours away.
  13. I intended to buy the Toshiba at CC on BF, but I wasn't able to get one. The manager was rude and disrespectful to my mother so I wrote a complaint to customer service, who offered to sell me the laptop for $325 (without even signing up for AOL). The only problem with this is that it is an open unit. I don't have a problem with this, but would you reccomend purchasing a extended warranty since it is an open unit --possibly returned? Will the original manufacturer's warranty still be valid? I really don't know which way to go at this point. Thanks for any suggestions. :)
