Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2007
alimfp replied to 1angelnhvn's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Will Target hold a clearance item behind the counter (if I pick it up within an hour)? Or is it a store to store rule thing? I am thinking they won't? RockfordMom - One store here has limited availability of the panel you need. I can call tmo AM and see if they have it or not.. if they do, I'm hoping they'd hold it as it's a 30 min drive but I'll gladly go. -
Finally.. this year, we are not even five minutes from Best Buy, Circuit City, Walmart, etc. And only 7-8 minutes from Toys R Us, Kohl's, Target.. FINALLY. Before we were over an hour away from some of those stores.

Walmart birth control pills and fertility pills $4.00
alimfp replied to davephillyj's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Wow, great price on Clomid. They're about $5-$10 a pill on average (and you take five per cycle). letsbeon - But figure this one out.. most insurance co's will pay for a tubal ligation ($2500 on average), yet most won't pay for a vasectomy ($800). -
Great deal on makeup! E.L.F. items for $1 Plus a 50% off Coupon
alimfp replied to jarerice's topic in Online Hot Deals
I did this last time this promo ran. The makeup is good quality (up there with Maybelline and such, not as good as the higher end makeup from Nordstroms, etc. though) - or at least that's my opinion. Will be buying more. Perfect for holiday swaps I'm doing. :) -
I saw another thread like this but it was asking if you matched family members. My question is a bit different. Has anyone figured out their outfits yet (for a certain party, family get together, etc.)? Or if you don't dress up really, what about your kids, if you have any? I can't believe myself. I've already figured out DD's outfit for the family get together we do at my husband's grandma's house. Now to figure out outfits for the boys. But I figured out my outfit already, pending it does still fit by then (I'm pg). Am I nut to be planning this already? Heck, some are shopping for gifts.. so my planning outfits can't be that nutty, right?

My Dad finds he needs the bit bigger ones though for their dog. 36 or so for $12 is .33 cents per pad, and the Amazon one is .27 per pad. Their dog is disabled, so it's a constant cost and not just temporary (sadly). He does reuse the pads, he just folds whatever corner over when the dog pees and gets another 2-3 uses out of it depending on the mess. Thanks! :)

Trying to find the best deal (per pad) on disposable chux pads. Must be 23" x 36" in size. So far, the best price I can find (including shipping!) is at Amazon for $41.99 shipped (here). I've looked on eBay but the shipping kills any deals. If anyone finds anything, please let me know. THANK YOU!

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2007

Strollers on clearance? I think my heart just flew out of my chest. DH would kill me if I bought another one.. especially when my kids are growing out of using them fast! I may have to go look around tomorrow morning. Just look, not buy - lol. -
When my kids were in dipes, I found Luvs to work well but the sizes weren't the same as Pampers or Huggies. Luvs is not generous in size at all, they don't stretch or accomodate for that cute baby chub at all. You end up having to buy a size up vs. what you buy in other brands, therefore getting less dipes for your money. At least that was MY experience. Too bad my kids are out of dipes.. good deal! LOL.

That is crap! I can see if she cut a hole in it or something, but marker? C'mon! I'd continue b*tching and work my way to the top of the Serta CS chain in doing so. It's not like the marker caused their mfg defect.

Nope, we don't - ever. But they've never once had anything other than their own food, so they don't beg for ours when they smell it. Even if they did, no way would I give it to them! :)

magargle - Same here, but I didn't care much about the software, lol. I was just happy to get the drive, but the surge protector will be a nice item to have around (on top of the many others we have). :)

I got my order today via DHL. I was going to refer you to the original post on the Dell deal, but it's gone. Nice.

Does she not have a tracking number or some way of finding out where the item is? Before ordering another one, I'd be on the phone with SOMEONE demanding to know where it is! -
question on Amazon's super saver shipping
alimfp replied to sbsahm's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
laffnatu - Yes, only on select items and for $25+ but yes. I ordered two items and they were said to be delivered on the 22nd. But I got BOTH packages today. :) -
Oddly enough, in the store near me anyway, it was on an endcap in the FOOD section. But they had a lot of non-food items on the endcaps in the food section anyway. I think for the holidays and all (gift ideas).

Amazon.com - anyone else fed up these guys?
alimfp replied to SoCalCyclist's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Sorry but B&M or online, any GOOD offer with limited availability will be hard to get. This has been proven via both B&M and online merchants with TMX Elmo, PS3 and Wii. I doubt Amazon is going to go and buy thousands of dollars in servers for a promotional event, when their servers currently work just fine (for them) and they probably sold a few thousand of each product (or however much they allowed/had) quickly. Unless I'm thinking of a different item - what knife was $100 reg and offered for $3.99? I know of the swiss army one that was offered to 13,000 people, reg. $29 for $3. Anyway, my experiences in the past few weeks have been A+ with Amazon. :) -
Watch Your Emails for a one time use $10 off $10 at JCPenney.com
alimfp replied to Linbil5987's topic in Online Hot Deals
I never get one either, via email or reg. mail. I shop through JcP (online, via phone and in store) all of the time too. One would cover one of three gifts I got roped into having to buy (long story). I'm on the lookout but have yet to see one come via email. Can someone post the email address it comes from? Maybe I can add it to my allowed senders list, though I doubt it'd be blocked. Hmm. -
Yeah, I've seen those at Target. Those are a bit shorter (time wise) and in a different case. Not sure if the mfg is the same or not. :)
-
Target had some on sale on Saturday (so the sale may be over). But I didn't look enough to see how good the sale was.

DH and I hit the Dollar Tree tonight. They had an end cap filled with DVD's. They were mainly TV shows from the 60's-80's. Just a lot of various ones. DH picked up one, Sherlock Holmes (he loves SH stories) and we're watching it now. It's a good hour long if not longer, three stories on it. Just thought I'd post about it. I thought for a dollar this was quite a deal if you found some movies and/or shows you liked! :)

I know this is a news story but it's about the holidays, so... Spreading the joy Waitress splurges $500 tip on Toys for Tots I teared up reading it. :)

This is kinda silly but my parents did it for me. I was five years old and I still remember this as if it were yesterday. I woke up Christmas morning, we all went downstairs. I had been BEGGING for a bicycle. I didn't see one downstairs, so I was sort of sad. Our tradition was to eat breakfast first, so we did that. We then began opening presents. Half way through my Dad told me to let the cat inside (which was a normal thing for me to do). So I opened the front door and there was my bike on the porch! I was screaming and jumping up and down, lol.
