Yeah, socks at the store I shop at - the selection is very much picked through about two hours after opening. Though even getting to the socks in the first hour can result in bruising from people with carts.. ack.

It depends on the location of the store. At the ones in Portland, Oregon anyway - there's always about 40-50 people in line with around half an hour before opening. I think one year I showed up an hour before and I was third in line.

OMG LMAO! I remember going with my Mom in the mid-90's. It was so fun to come home with bruises.. and CHEAP SOCKS! (Fred Meyer shoppers will understand that one) LOL.

Either way, it would be $1399. ($1899 - $300 price cut - $500 instant savings = $1399) Sometimes retailers aren't allowed to put the price of the item in an ad, though they can say "It's $500 with $100 off!" (making it $400, of course). Silly little rule some mfg's have apparently (Nikon is one).

Well, if it helps the person I am sending too.. I am a total germaphobe. And yes, we have cats, but I'll be darned if any cat hair enters our food.. LOL! I'm really weird in the kitchen though. I wash my hands a million times while cooking dinner. DH always makes fun, because it adds probably ten minutes total to the prep time for whatever I am cooking. And the dishwasher doesn't clean things well enough (even though it's brand new and works PERFECTLY!). I still have to rinse off and re-wash some things. Bad, eh? LOL.

Thoughts on this idea? I love love love to bake for the holidays. I thought about baking some cookies and sending them to the person I have for SS (bagging them airtight very very well and sending them priority). This is in addition to the gift! Would this be appropriate or would most of you throw it out for safety reasons? Hmm, and then there's health/allergy reasons.. but it'd be a basic cookie, nothing fancy shmancy.

What I am making (to take to my MIL's). I am taking more, but this is my list so far with recipes! Making this in case one or all of my kids decide not to touch the turkey or ham.

How many size 5 dipes come in a box? And am I missing it, or is there no limit to the boxes of dipes you can buy (I'd only buy 3 or 4 but still)?

I've disliked Walmart since long before this. But everything I've read here today just made me realize more so why I dislike them so much. Yep, another one boycotting here. I was talking to a couple of girlfriends tonight and they were shocked at the crud Walmart is pulling over this. So they decided to not even go either (and one I've converted over to Target shopping anyway).

No idea where I'm going yet. I'm in Portland, Oregon. But I will be wearing my GD shirt. It just barely fits my belly still.
