  1. I'm thinking all of those won't work, since the one they want is $700-ish.. usually those are for desktops $1000+ I think. Anyone else? If you have one that will work on a Dimension E521, please PM me the code so no one else can use it first. Thanks. :)
  2. Okay, I just gotta say - this is a NICE guitar! In fact, I'd say it's worth the $150 retail, but at just under $60 it's a steal. I gifted this guitar to a friend of mine and they love it. I checked it out first though and it was so nice. I've heard only rave reviews from my friends that I gave one too.
  3. Mine point things out in the JcP holiday catalog. My DS's and DD all want Cars stuff, but it's too expensive, being so new and hot and all. :)
  4. I don't have the recipes near me right now.. nor do I care to remember them (too much baking on Thanksgiving Day! lol!). I make the following cookies: pumpkin spice, chocolate chip, oatmeal, peanut butter.. and then I make banana bread and usually a new kind of bread every Christmas.
  5. Oh boy, I can so relate to that scene! DH and I both do the oddest things to get the kids to smile for pictures. The oddest noises, faces, anything we can without killing ourselves, lol! Cute pic of the kiddos!! :)
  6. I've only had great experiences with Dell. We've bought two refurb'd laptops and great experiences both times. In fact, my a/c cord went bad on this laptop in April, right after I got the laptop. I called them up, they shipped a new one the same day, I sent my old one back in their postage paid box. 3dnick - I suggest calling them and telling them you expect a brand new hard drive. What kind of warranty plan did you get with the original laptop purchase?
  7. Nope, not excited yet. I probably won't be that excited to see the kids faces until a week before. We just have too much going on right now. I still can't believe it's December!
  8. Disney Cars - that is ALL my boys can talk about. If the stuff wasn't so expensive, I'd buy them a few things but Cars shoes alone are $25. Eeks. Try eBay though, they may be cheaper for that kind of thing (and still be NIB).
  9. Thanks to you both. BDF, I built their system and tried both codes but they don't meet whatever criteria. Thanks though. njj - I got the same catalog today. I checked out the gift deal but they jacked up the price of the desktop $300 for that deal, lol. I'm going to see about that desktop + accessory = percentage off deal. If they can buy a relatively cheap accessory and save 15%, it may be worth it. Thanks. ETA: The 15% off accessory deal is only 15% off the accessory itself. I should have know but the terms and conditions weren't too clear.
  10. My parents are going to buy a Dell Dimension (E521). Need a coupon if at all possible. Thanks.
  11. Go to Amazon's main page, right hand side has the options, click one, sign in, click "Continue Shopping" and your vote has been counted.
  12. My kids health, DH's health and my own. And my laptop/internet.. that may sound bad, but it comes in HANDY when trying to find jobs (yes, plural).
  13. NOT AT ALL! In fact, it's just hard thinking about more than two days from now. I have too much on my mind otherwise involving employment (= money, lol). I don't have one present bought yet..
  14. No. We don't go on price, we go on number of items. Because even at my kids ages, they know when one gets one more than the other. And when it comes to Christmas, I feel we should be equal for now anyway. Once they get older, I may not think about quantity as much though.
  15. Used to be a lot, but with everything we have going on -- and my getting two jobs, it's not nearly as much as before. Now I spend maybe 30 minutes total per day here. :)
  16. Any age is too early. Honestly, I don't think it's the place of a parent to reveal "the truth," kwim? It's bad enough that other kids kill the magic usually. But I think you should tell them that if they believe, he is real.
  17. I should take a pic of my neighbors yard. They put about five of those HUGE blow up decorations in their yard (and their yard isn't that big at all). It looks terrible! Everytime DH and I drive by it, we laugh.
  18. The rebate is linked on the page of the wall mount. Click this link: http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/00/00/00/46/47/79/46477941._V36602251_.pdf You have to buy the TV in order to get the rebate to make the wall mount free (you can't just buy the wall mount and send in the rebate, you won't get your money back).

    Longest BF ever!!!!

I'm thinking expressway means something different to the OP than it does to me. Or the OP parked in the emergency lane.. hmm.
  20. You were number 70-something in line and they still had tickets for the laptops?! Wow. I know you didn't get one, but if someone BEHIND you got one, then wow. That is pretty surprising to say the least. The laptop tickets are usually gone by person number 20 if not TEN!
  21. I am so so glad you are okay first and foremost. But wow, he didn't even take your purse? He must have been pretty flustered.
  22. How did you win?! J Jill is awesome! I didn't win anything, but I hardly went anywhere either. :)
  23. I fourth the regional forum.
  24. 308swife - I live about 15 minutes from J Creek (during reg traffic that is, not bad traffic, lol). I'm hitting Fred Meyer at 5am in Milwaukie. (I'll probably get there around 4:15am)
  25. Was either of those Walmart's the one on 82nd near Johnson Creek? I was tempted to go drive by and see.
